🦩 Doflamingo: Female Version & "Mingo" Style 🎨

¡Hola, amigos! ¿Cómo están? Por aquí les saluda de nuevo Emja con el segundo dibujo de esta semana. En esta ocasión, quise retratar a uno de los personajes más icónicos de One Piece: el carismático y temido Donquixote Doflamingo (o "Mingo", como le dice Luffy). ✨

Hello friends! How are you all doing? Emja is back with the second drawing of the week! This time, I decided to draw one of the most iconic characters from One Piece: the charismatic and feared Donquixote Doflamingo (or "Mingo," as Luffy calls him). ✨

Doflamingo es un villano con mucha personalidad, conocido por el poder de su fruta del diablo que le permite manipular los hilos. Aunque este es un diseño más minimalista, quise hacer algo especial: ¡una versión femenina! 🚺 Como saben, los cuerpos masculinos se me dificultan un poco, así que opté por este genderbend con cabello liso, manteniendo su esencia pero con un toque distinto, similar al estilo de presentación que usé con mi dibujo de Kuma. 🧸

Doflamingo is a villain full of personality, famous for his Devil Fruit power that allows him to manipulate strings. Although this is a simpler piece, I wanted to try something different: a female version! 🚺 As you know, I find male anatomy quite challenging, so I went with this genderbend look featuring straight hair. I designed it as a presentation-style piece, similar to the Kuma drawing I did recently.

¡La eterna lucha con los dedos! Hoy no fue mi día más inspirado para dibujar manos y las de la parte superior me quedaron algo extrañas. Sin embargo, decidí no estancarme; si me detengo por un detalle, no avanzo, y lo importante es seguir creciendo como artista. 📈

The eternal struggle with fingers! Honestly, I wasn't feeling very inspired to draw hands today, and the top ones turned out a bit weird. But I decided to keep moving forward; as an artist, if I stop for every minor struggle, I’ll never grow. 📈

El Abrigo: Fue todo un reto darle forma a ese abrigo de plumas, ¡especialmente antes de ponerle color! Empecé con tonos claros para la piel y un dorado sutil para el cabello. En lugar de su clásica camisa blanca, elegí una prenda negra tipo braga para que contrastara mejor. 🖤

The Coat: Shaping that iconic feather coat was quite a challenge, especially making it look right in the sketch phase! I started with light skin tones and a soft gold for the hair. Instead of his usual white shirt, I chose a black outfit to create a bolder contrast. 🖤

Lo más importante fue detallar el abrigo por capas para que el brazo no se perdiera entre las plumas. Terminé con los lentes, las uñas y, por supuesto, ¡los hilos! 🧶

I layered the colors on the coat to make sure her arm stood out from the feathers. I finished by detailing the sunglasses, nails, and of course, the strings! 🧶

A pesar de que tuve un día muy movido, no quería romper mi racha de 5 dibujos por semana. ¡Espero que les guste el resultado! 💖

Even though it was a very busy day, I didn't want to break my streak of 5 drawings per week. I truly hope you like it! 💖
