Claimed Ragnarok Drop!! My experience and opinion on the launch

Today I made the Ragnarok token claim, something that had already been announced a few days ago on the project blog, having an official date for 04/20/2022, but I was able to do it today. And when they announced that all Hivers who had Hive and/or Hive Power were eligible to receive free Ragnarok Tokens I was really excited, and now that I've claimed I can only wait for the game to launch.

I tell you that the process was really easy, go to https://ragnaroknft.info/, enter the username and select the method to make the claim.

I chose to log in with Hive Keychain, and after signing to authorize the operation, the number of pending tokens to be claimed is shown on the page, in my case they were 3287, being granted in a 1:1 ratio with the Hivepower I had during the Snapshot of the SPK network on January 6.

And that's it, we have received the DUAT token that easy, then you can check our balance by consulting Dlux.io.

This is the market where we can check the price of DUAT tokens, exchange them for Hive if we wish, and explore NFTs, although we still have to wait a little longer for this.

I'm going to wait for the release of the game, to acquire the NFTs and start playing.

And what is Ragnarok?

In the design document we are told that Ragnarok is an NFT-based deckbuilding strategy game, a PayToEarn set in a mythological setting with magical and medieval weapons and gods, titans and legendary beings, who seem to fight in a sort of chess game where the NFTs are the pieces on the board. It is a 1:1 fighting game based on a strategy system where the last god, titan or legendary being left standing wins, and whose battles begin with Norse mythology, the home of Ragnarok

The scenario will be like a typical game of chess, only with less pieces and each player will take their respective side of the board with their pieces, which have their own movement patterns just like the game of chess, at the same time, each piece has Basic skills and weaknesses.

The pieces in front are obviously the pawns, and these are represented with demigods or legendary humans, and in general they will be weaker than the gods or titans, who play as a bishop, knight or rook located in the back row. In the last row, as in the game of chess, the queen and the king will also be located, which are legendary gods or titans who are leaders or very influential beings. All the pieces will have their statistics, class and skills that we must learn to manage to win a battle.

Ragnarok looks interesting, its website is very attractive, and although we already know the games with decks of cards, it will be interesting to see how the abilities and statistics of a card are combined with the movements of a chess piece, without a doubt we will be able to enjoy great battles where the skills of the player and his pieces will be key, and where we will also get rewards for our efforts.

I think that Ragnarok can give us a good blockchain game, and new opportunities to generate rewards and strengthen the Hive network, while we wait for more news and the launch of NFTs to start playing.
