Hello Splinter Fanatics!

We all have our favorite cards that we use most often. For this reason, it's common to repeat certain combos more often during our battles. In particular, I like to use monsters with the ability Martyr and/or Weapons Training . Two cards I've used a lot are Rage and Zyriel, which have high offensive power.

Using these two cards on the battlefield combined with non-damaging cards is an excellent strategy. In today's post we're going to combine Rage and Zyriel with some support cards, which offers both offense and support.

Cards adjacent to monsters with the ability Weapons Training receive half their damage rounded up. So, in the battle that follows, I've drawn two cards with a support ability: **Runeseer Sevaya and Scavo Hireling. Both have the ability Repair, which restores the armor of the monster with the most damaged armor.

I have a special fondness for Runeseer Sevaya for being a monster full of support abilities. **Runeseer Sevaya is a legendary monster from the Dragon Splinter that can give a lot of headaches to those who face it.

At the initial level he has two skills: Cleanse and Protect. As you level up, this card accumulates more abilities. And they all provide interesting support for the whole team.

Level 1

Cleanse
This ability removes all negative effects on the Monster in first position. It's a very useful skill, especially in battles with the Noxious Fumes rule and against monsters that apply a debuff.

Protect
This is a very cool ability, as it grants all the monsters on the team (+2) armor, as well as giving protection to Runeseer Sevaya himself, who has low health.

Level 2

Blind
This ability is very interesting in any battle, both high and low speed. This ability increases the probability that the enemy will miss melee and ranged damage attacks.

Repair
At this level things start to get interesting, because at the same time as this monster grants, it also repairs armor.

Amplify
Finally, this ability amplifies Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage.

Runeseer Sevaya is a breathtaking monster, but it has weaknesses, the main one being its low amount of health, making it an easy target for monsters with the Opportunity ability. Therefore, its use is conditioned when there is a monster on the field with the ability Taunt or when the Ruleset Fog of War . However, there are cases where the player can take a risk!

Nothing better than a battle to see these monsters in action. The battle featured the following Ruleset: **Reverse Speed, Maneuvers and Silenced Summoner. It also had 57 mana and all the Splinters available.

In the first round you can see that my opponent made an effort to line up monsters with low speed, and he also chose the Summoner Sthispa, which grants the Phase ability to all monsters, making it possible to dodge magic damage.

My line-up also focused on low-speed monsters due to the ruleset. One tank I really like is Mantaroth, because he has two types of attacks (melee damage + Armored Strike). He uses his armor to deliver attacks, so restoring his armor can be a good strategy. In this sense, we have two units performing this function: Runeseer Sevaya and Scavo Hireling.

Even with a strategy focused on armor restoration, my tank couldn't resist the enemy team's attacks. It seems that the support cards didn't have the expected effect and one by one our cards are being defeated.

Fortunately, Rage and Zyriel, for their great offensive power, managed to defeat the enemy monsters. These are monsters that can cause a major headache for the opponent and have a high win rate.

Olá Splinter Fanáticos!

Todos nós temos nossas cartas favoritas, que usamos com mais frequência. Por esse motivo, é comum repetir alguns combos com mais frequência, durante nossas batalhas. Particulamente, gosto de utilizar monstros com a habilidade Martyr e/ou Weapons Training . Duas cartas que tem utilizado com muita frequência é Rage e Zyriel, que possuem alto poder ofensivo.

Utilizar essas duas cartas no campo de batalha combinadas com cartas sem dano é uma excelente estratégia. No post de hoje vamos combinar Rage e Zyriel com algumas cartas de suporte, o que oferece ofensividade e suporte.

As cartas adjancentes a monstros com a habilidade Weapons Training recebem metade do seu dano arredondas para cima. Dessa forma, na batalha que se segue eu escalei duas cartas com habilidade de suporte: Runeseer Sevaya e Scavo Hireling. Ambas possuem a habilidade Repair, que restauram a armadura do monstro com armadura mais danificada.

Eu tenho um carinho especial por Runeseer Sevaya por ser um monstro repleto de habilidade de suporte. Runeseer Sevaya é um monstro lendário, do Splinter Dragão, que pode dar bastante dor de cabeça a quem o enfrenta.

No nível inicial ele possui duas habilidades: Cleanse e Protect. A medida que vai subindo o nível esta carta vai acumulando mais habilidades. E todas elas dão um suporte interessante a todo o time.

Nivel 1

Cleanse
Esta habilidade remove todos os efeitos negativos no Monstro na primeira posição. É uma habilidade bastante útil, principalmente, em batalhas com a regra Noxious Fumes e contra monstros que aplicam algum debuff.

Protect
Essa é uma habilidade bem legal, pois concede a todos os monstros do time (+2) de armadura, além de dar proteção ao próprio Runeseer Sevaya, que possui pouca saúde.

Esta habilidade é bem interessante em qualquer batalha, tanto de alta, quanto de baixa velocidade. Pois, essa habilidade adciona uma probabilidade do inimigo errar ataque de dano melee e ranged.

Repair
Neste nível as coisas começam a ficar interessante, porque ao mesmo tempo que este monstro concede ele também repara armadura.

Amplify
Por fim, essa habilidade amplifica os danos Magic Reflect, Return Fire, e Thorns.

Runeseer Sevaya é um monstro de tirar o folego, porém ele possui pontos fracos, o principal deles é a baixa quantidade de saúde, sendo assim um alvo fácil para monstro com a habilidade Opportunity. Então, seu uso fica condicionado quando existe no campo algum monstro com a habilidade Taunt ou quando o Ruleset Fog of War . Porém, há caso em que o jogador pode arriscar!

Nada melhor do que uma batalha para ver esses monstros em ação. A batalha contou com os seguintes Ruleset: Reverse Speed, Maneuvers e Silenced Summoner. Além disso, contou com 57 de mana e os todos os Splinters disponíveis.

Na primeira rodada é possível perceber que meu oponente se esforçou em escalar monstros com baixa velocidade, além disso ele escolheu o Invocador Sthispa, que concede a habilidade Phase a todos os monstros possibilitando assim desviar de danos mágicos.

Minha escalação também teve o foco em monstros de baixa velocidade devido o ruleset. Um tanque que gosto bastante é Mantaroth, pois ele tem dois tipos de ataques (dano melee + Armored Strike). Ele usa a armadura para proferir ataques, então restaurar sua armadura pode ser uma boa estratégia. Nesse sentido temos duas unidades executando essa função: Runeseer Sevaya e Scavo Hireling.

Mesmo com uma estratégia focada em restauração de armadura meu tanque não resistiu aos ataques da equipe inimiga. Ao que parece as cartas de suporte não sutiram o efeito esperado e uma por uma nossas cartas estão sendo derrotadas.

Felizmente, Rage e Zyriel por ser grande poder ofensivo conseguiram derrotar os monstros inimigos. São monstros que podem causar uma grande dor de cabeça no adversário e possuem uma alta taxa de win rate.
