Protecting the City of Meridian and confronting old enemies.

Earlier, I was in charge of making the necessary preparations to inform the Avad and prepare Meridian's defenses. After completing all the tasks, I head for the city center.

I passed by the kite terraces and, after enjoying the view for a while, I head towards my quarters to rest. As I do this, the system warns me that this action is irreversible, so I guess the grand finale begins from here.

With a lot of things going through her head, Aloy finally manages to fall asleep, but her apparent peace is interrupted by a huge crash.

Aloy ran towards the direction of the sound and, upon reaching a balcony, encountered Avad, who was staring at the horizon in surprise at the huge army of war machines that had burst into his domain.

In the distance, all was chaos and destruction. Little by little, those huge deadly machines were advancing, breaking through with heavy fire. Immediately, the soldiers began to form up with huge weapons to try to defend the wall, but the difference in power was evident.

Aloy prepared to join the defense of the city, but something caught his attention and caused him to rappel toward the lower part of the walls.

In that place was Helis, leading an advance party of Eclipse soldiers, who were trying to infiltrate the citadel. Aloy fought his way through the enemies until he reached their leader.

Once there, there was no turning back, and after an epic battle, he was finally able to end the life of his oldest enemy and, in the process, avenge all those who had fallen during the attack on the trial of the brave.

But there was no time to celebrate Helis' death, since he did not control the bringers of death; so chaos and destruction continued.

In a desperate attempt, Aloy launched herself down the zip line toward the front line of defense and grabbed one of the soldiers' weapons to try to take out as many enemies as possible.

The weapon was incredible and had very good attack power. With it, Aloy prevented the advance of the corrupted machines and several death carriers.

Unfortunately, one of them seemed to be stronger than the others and managed to reach the gate in the walls, destroying it. The shockwave from the explosion knocked Aloy unconscious, and all she could think about was the chaos those machines would wreak on the villages.

To be continued...

Glad you found out about it. The community has a lot of creative posts and screenshots. If you notice, the active members of this community are more photographer than gamer. Hope to see your contribution as well.

Wow, great Horizon Zero Dawn screenshots! If I remember correctly, this is the final mission, and it's definitely one of the best. I'm guessing you're going to play Forbidden West now? The photo mode in that game is so much better; you can even play with Aloy's expressions. You'll love it, 100% recommended.

P.S. I didn't know about this community. I love that it focuses on capturing the best scenes from games. I'm not a photographer, but I really enjoy saving images of the best scenes and scenery.
