Today I want to share with you another of my fan art drawings inspired by Holozing. This time I have chosen the Healer of Light to be my muse. I wanted to draw her without her usual combat attire and for that I have dressed her in a golden bare-shoulder outfit with no accessories other than some golden diamond-shaped earrings. I hope you like this new fan art, and I'll tell you a little bit about how this illustration came to life.

Hoy quiero compartirles otro de mis dibujos fan art inspirados en Holozing. En esta ocasión he elegido a la Sanadora de la Luz para ser mi musa. He querido dibujarla sin su atuendo de combate habitual y para ello la he vestido con un conjunto dorado de hombro descubierto y sin más accesorios que unos pendientes dorados en forma de rombo. Espero que les guste este nuevo fan art. A continuación les contaré un poco sobre cómo cobró vida esta ilustración.

Step by step // Paso a paso

I started working on the character design, creating the lines and strokes needed to create the silhouette of a girl with long, lush hair and a sidelong glance. Semi-backed posture and bare shoulders. To the design I then incorporated the details of the hair, face and dress.

Comencé trabajando en el diseño del personaje, creando las líneas y trazos necesarios para crear la silueta de una chica de pelo largo y frondoso con una mirada de reojo. Postura semi despalda y con hombros descubiertos. Al diseño le incorporé luego los detalles del cabello, rostro y vestido.

When it comes to coloring, I start with the hair, then the skin and finally the eyes and the dress, which will be golden. If you look closely, there is a slight difference in the tones of the base color and that is because I was changing them little by little since the drawing was made in several selections and each time I took it up again I changed the tones a little.

A la hora de dar color, comienzo por el cabello, luego la piel y al final los ojos y el vestido, los cuales serán dorados. Si se fijan bien, hay una leve diferencia en los tonos del color base y eso se debe a que los iba cambiando poco a poco ya que el dibujo fue echo en varias selecciones y cada vez que lo retomaba cambiaba un poco los tonos.

For the background, I used a white color layer and created a light dark gradient to create a sunset effect. On top of the Healer I placed some big stars.

Para el fondo, utilicé una capa a color en blanco y crearé un degradado oscuro claro para crear un efecto de anochecer. Encima de la Sanadora coloqué algunas estrellas grandes.

To give a better look and work a little more organized, I create two independent layers on which I will apply the shadows and highlights. In the case of the shadows, I mainly focus on the inner area of the hair and the lower part of the jaw, adding several details also on the dress. As for the reflections, I will cover more areas, mainly on the hair and the clothes and I will also take advantage of the opportunity to give a finish to the eyes.

Para dar una mejor apariencia y trabajar un poco más organizado, creo dos capas independientes en las cuales aplicaré las sombras y los reflejos. En el caso de las sombras, me centro principalmente en la zona interior del cabello y la parte inferior de la mandíbula, agregando varios detalles también en el vestido. En cuanto a los reflejos, si abarque más zonas, trabando principalmente el pelo y la ropa y aprovechando también para dar un acabado a los ojos.

To finish, I only worked on the starry night background or so I would like to say. The truth is that I did create a starry background using a fine pointer and a brush called a stippling pen, but I also had to work on the golden hair lighting, as I had completely forgotten about them.

Para finalizar, solo trabajé en el estrellado del fondo nocturno o eso me gustaría decir. La verdad es que sí cree un fondo estrellado utilizando un puntero fino y un pincel llamado pluma de punteado, pero también tuve que trabajar en la iluminación dorada del cabello, ya que me había olvidado por completo de ellas.

Finally, I do some retouching and export the image to my phone's gallery to edit it a bit and increase the saturation, thus improving the intensity of the colors.

Por último, doy algunos retoques y exporto la imagen hacia la galería de mi teléfono para editarla un poco y subir la saturación, mejorando así la intensidad de los colores.
