Exploring the Cemetetric - Horizon Zero Dawn

Hello, everyone.
Previously, I had stopped just at the entrance to a military site known as the Cemetery. My goal here is to gather more information about Project Zero Dawn, the Gaia AI, and the other programs subordinate to it.

To access the site, I had to solve a series of puzzles that activated five switches, which in turn enabled the energy needed to operate the door.

It seems that this place has some kind of alternate entrance, because inside it was full of Eclipse soldiers accompanied by corrupt machines.

The entire place had been refurbished to serve as a base of operations. Everywhere you looked, there were remnants of old weapons that were no longer operational, some of which had been turned into candlesticks.

Little by little, I made my way through the guards. Sometimes I used stealth, and other times I confronted them directly. That's how I reached the first room and was able to obtain information about the exact location of the central node that still held the data I was looking for.

Further on, I entered an open room where some soldiers were looting parts of a huge ancient war machine. Suddenly, the interior of the machine emitted a sound like metal breaking, and a death carrier fell from inside, which had been reactivated.

To defeat this enemy, I had to use almost all of my fire arrows and wage guerrilla warfare to wait for the fire to reduce its health, as physical damage didn't seem to affect it much.

After claiming the prize for my victory, I looked up and realized that the enormous ancient war machine was actually a machine known as the Mechanical Devil. According to ancient stories, there were few of this type, but they almost wiped out all life on earth.

I continued forward until I reached the data node, which was also the boardroom for that facility's management. Among the information found there were plans and detailed data on the Zero Dawn project led by Dr. Elisabet Sobeck.

There was also information about GAIA, a super AI that would ensure the project continued to function even if humanity ceased to exist. I also found information about other lesser AIs that would assist the main AI in its task. The strange thing was discovering that HADES was one of those assistant AIs.

Leaning against the shade of a tree, I began to analyze the information I had gathered so far, and no matter how many times I went over it, there was only one explanation. Something or someone had caused HADES to turn against humanity and had caused the Zero Dawn project to fail or go off course.

At that moment, I received a message from Sylens telling me where we were going to meet to discuss the next part of the plan. I arrived at the designated location hoping to see him in person, but my hopes were dashed when he appeared before me in hologram form.

To be continued...

That's right my friend. The adventure doesn't have much left, but I have enjoyed every moment of it.
