Tommy Dreamer Promoting The First ECW Video Game In 2000
This video clip is from 2000 as Tommy Dreamer did an interview late in the day to help promote ECW and its first video game, "Hardcore Revolution". This was done at the Acclaim Studios, the company which produced both ECW video games.
The following description is from the video's description on the "Midnight Hustle" YouTube channel:
ECW "Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer sits down for a short interview to promote the first ever ECW video game release, Hardcore Revolution - filmed on-location at the Acclaim Video Game studios (2000).
A little backstory - both Tommy Dreamer and DieHard Derek were completely mentally and physically drained at the time of the interview. This was scheduled as a full day press event with multiple media outlets there to witness the screen capture with Spike Dudley and The Hardy Boys, as well as a full studio tour showing the process in making the video game.
Tommy had been there since early doing dozens of interviews with the media, and DieHard's production team was having technical difficulties with the equipment, and ultimately had to go back to our studios to swap it out. The day was a bust for us... but fortunately, Acclaim and Tommy Dreamer stuck around until the press event was done so that I could at least walk away with one interview after losing the entire production day. Neither of us were in the best of moods at the time of the interview, nor did we have any gas left in the tank - but here it is, fresh from the vault!
