The Little Known Venue Where ECW Ran 19 Shows

Flagstaff Lodge Mountain Resort in Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania is a little-known venue to most pro wrestling fans. However, it was the venue which held the second-most shows in ECW history behind the ECW Arena.

ECW ran 19 shows in that venue, with the more famous Elks Lodge in Queens New York only hosting 14 shows. Here is the list of events which ran in Jim Thorpe PA from 1994 to 1997:

The first match at the venue was Mikey Whipwreck defeating Stevie Richards on November 18, 1994.

I'm pretty sure this is the place that I heard had the balcony overlooking a mountain that they were convinced was going to collapse.

You are correct. The dressing room also was teetering over the edge of the mountain as well. That must have made for some memorable stories!
