The Continuation Of The Tajiri Super Crazy Feud After ECW
Early 2001 was a tough time for many wrestlers in North America. This was due to ECW's final show being in January 2001 and then WCW folding less than 3 months later, leaving only WWF (now WWE) as the major promotion in North America.
One of the bright spots from the final weeks of ECW was the quality of matches featuring Super Crazy and Tajiri. The video at the top of this post shows their second-to-last match in ECW from January 12, 2001 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Their final match also was on ECW's final show the next night in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Tajiri and Super Crazy then continued their rivalry in other promotions in North America during the subsequent months:
- CZW on Feb 10, 2001
- X-Law in Mexico on March 4, 2001
- IWA Puerto Rico on April 7, 2001
The two don't appear in the ring again until the WWE-rebranded ECW on the 2nd "One Night Stand" PPV in June 2006.
Here is the database of matches between the two:

They last appeared in the ring together earlier this year for GCW at the Hammerstein Ballroom, in a six-man tag team with their partner Little Guido (Guido Maritato).
Below is the 2001 match in CZW between the two:
Tajiri also won, and lost on the same night, the CZW Heavyweight Championship on February 28, 2001.
It was his first title in America since losing the ECW World Tag Team Championship (with Mikey Whipwreck) to the team of Guido & Tony Mamaluke (the Full Blooded Italians) in late August 2000.
