First ECW Match With The Dudleys

Most wrestling fans consider the "Dudleys" being Buh Buh Ray and D-Von - and possibly Spike. Of course, younger pro wrestling fans may know them as "Team 3D" or as Bully Ray and Brother D-Von.

However, the original "Dudley" family didn't have any of the above three wrestlers. The first match featuring the "Dudley" name took place at Hardcore Heaven 1995 at the ECW Arena in early July 1995. That match had Dudley Dudley and Little Snot Dudley, along with Big Dick Dudley, defeat the Pitbulls who were accompanied by Raven, Stevie Richards, and Beulah.

Other "Dudley" family members entered the stable in the subsequent weeks. In addition to the mentions of "Big Daddy Dudley" and "Mama Dudley" (never portrayed by real people), other Dudley family members included Chubby Dudley, Dances With Dudley, Sign Guy Dudley, and even appearances briefly by the former Bushwhackers tag team (later called Cousin Luke Dudley and Cousin Butch Dudley). Joel Gertner appeared later with the Dudley Boyz and even "Spike Dudley's Girlfriend" appeared briefly with Spike dressed in a "Dudley" manner: the tie-die shirt and the glasses.
