Chris Jericho And Rob Van Dam Tag Team In ECW
Most wrestling fans don't know that Chris Jericho and Rob Van Dam (RVD) briefly were a tag team in ECW. Their lone tag team match took place on February 2, 1996 in Reading Pennsylvania in a losing effort to The Eliminators (Saturn and Kronus). The next night they faced each other in a singles match at the Lost Battalion Hall in New York City.
The above video has the first match show the RVD/Jericho tag team from the ECW "fan cam" perspective.
Several other Jericho matches are included with Chris using his Lionheart nickname.

Really cool bit of ECW history. I had no idea Jericho and RVD actually teamed up, even if it was just for one match. The fan cam footage makes it feel even more authentic. Wild to see The Eliminators in their prime too.
The Eliminators were fun to watch, especially live. Very little (if any) wasted motion, and they always brought a "fight" feel to the ECW Arena or wherever they wrestled. That level of authenticity seems to be missing in many of today's tag team matches, so go back and watch their work when you can to enjoy some intense matches.
And also support what WOO is doing on HIVE to help bring awareness to the body of work - and now the recovery from surgery - by Perry Saturn.
Thanks to RVD for liking the mention of his lone tag team match with Jericho in ECW. Here is confirmation: https://x.com/ECWwebsite/status/1998417591883485218/likes
