We got the call

As the message slowly circulated down the chain of command, across the planets of our universe - soon everyone was talking about the news. The empire of Pharesim was building a mighty weapon, and undertaking a grand building project to achieve it this technological domination. Vast resources already invested into the Nanites required to build a virtual Dyson Sphere of thousands of satellites, on a planet close to the sun, in the 2:150 system.

This mighty weapon, this Battle Fortress, known to some in mere whispers as a Death Star, might be the mightiest weapon in the known universe, capable of destroying even moons.

Alarm Bells Ring

I had noticed some of the action, as an active free2play player in this mighty universe; I had teamed up with the EARN alliance in some clashes against the top ranked Curators of The Curators alliance.

Now it seems their leader, Emperor Pharesim, is intent on getting his hands on the ultimate weapon.

In diplomacy with other top alliances I learned of a plan, a group of rebels, who would stand up to Emperor Pharesim, resist his power grab, by any means necessary.

General Hurtlocker and his brash band of Skull Collectors, would not take this lying down. I was there, and I vaguely remember what was said, something like:

"We must stop Emperor Pharesim! I would put a bounty on attacks against him!"

Attack on the supply lines

Now, no self-loving band of sellswords are necessarily called cowardly because they look twice - is an attack even possible on the mighty number 1 rank in the game? Together with EARN's battle tested band of scarred and experienced pirates, we thought so. But we couldn't attack just anywhere.

Even the sum of all our fleets, it would be difficult to penetrate such entrenchments, but after careful study of the 900 known solar systems, we found an outpost - perfect for a rebel attack!

While scouting, we stumbled upon a massive fleet of small cargo. It would be a dream to hit, but it would be an absolute mess, clogging the battlefield - and spilling precious debris everywhere; and possibly giving the Emperor a moon. We held our breath, but when we arrived, there was no fleet to be found.

We punched through anyway, into the heart of the supply lines for that destructive weapon. If anything, part of the defense wouldn't be rebuilt, before another strike can be effectuated.

We flew the first mission, it wasn't profitable in the traditional sense, but with this attack, we will alert all - Emperor Pharesim is not invinsible, he can be attacked, his weapon of death can be averted!
