Story Mode Mission - Clear the defenses

This post continues roleplay from The Last Starfighter pt1.

This is a "story mode mission", there is no pressure to participate. It will be followed shortly by a Tutorial Mode mission.

The battle lines were drawn, massive defenses were raised - the sound of missle silos being rapidly constructed was deafening ears on multiple planets. Rapid simulations were being calculated, and it didn't look great.

But everybody knew. A massive final battle was pending - it was the only way. The technology being unlocked by Emperor Pharesim was too powerful, too deadly.

After a successful, if unprofitable, attack on the planet Juka, the scrappy EARN alliance came together to plan another. It seemed to make more sense to hit again in the same spot, perhaps the massive small cargo fleet could be caught by surprise, perhaps a disruption in supply lines was possible.

I, @ecoinstant, was already sending resources to the front lines, located in the 2:150 system where, after exploding my third planet in desperation, I had then set up a base of operations for the battle to come.

And then suddenly the satellites started flying up... 1000, 2000....

The Emperor Disappears

Satellite after satellite, as rapid as this universe had every seen it, Technocratic officers commanding over a Nanite 4 and Shipyard 12 buildings, filling the skies with silicon panels. They worked for 6 hours straight - then they just.... stopped.

Had a secret deal been struck? Surely the Emperor had unlocked the deadly Gravitron Technology, but where had he gone? Would he return one day to use it against us? This is no time to sit around and find out.

MISSION - Clear the defenses!

These defenses are live - and DANGEROUS! We must clear them from the universe in any way we can. Using ships or missles, clear one or more defense structures from any of Emperor Pharesim's planets.

Instructions for submission:

1. Attacking with ships, or striking with any number of IPM missles, remove defense from any of Emperor Pharesim's Planets
2. Post the Battle Report link, or IPM summary message screenshot in a comment on this post.
3. Upon confirmation - Receive votes for making the universe a safer place!

But be careful, attacking the Emperor is not like attacking just any old user out there....

Boss level Techs

This isn't just any opponent, not only was Emperor Pharesim high ranked in his Weapon, Shield and Armor Technologies, he also had a complete set off officers around him at all times, leading to a massive difference on the battle field. This is indeed a "boss battle", and you can see the most recent report obtained by the EARN alliance on his technological developments before disappearance.

If users would like to simulate prebattle, they should be sure to use the following techs for the simulator: Weapon 22, Shield 17, Armor 23.

Be careful out there soldiers, we believe the Emperor Pharesim may have had as many as 7 or more planets - some currently contain more defensive structures than others. Find one or more, engage your spy probes (adding extra to the spy mission if you need to see more information), make a plan - and execute.
