Ashline Alley Burnout: A Race Lit by Flame and Fury
Caution is not a quality that working in Ashline Alley requires. Very few drivers who participate in this course survive intact because the track shows no mercy in its path of destruction. Racing at Ashline Alley resembles battlefield conditions due to its narrow corners and the unstable situation between cracks in the floor and intermittent underground duct fires. Two racers call Ashline Alley their home race course as FlameWing X9 and InfernoBlade. Proof of the danger appeared early in the race as flames erupted from the track surface within one circuit. The end of the race left all spectators forgetful of who took the second position.
The beginning of the race unfolded according to tradition where eight karts began their run through a countdown emptying every racing spirit of tension. As soon as the signal faded FlameWing X9 activated dual-flame surge to launch forward with rocket-scream propulsion. InfernoBlade mastered the pack by slipping effortlessly through the crowd as though he had just a fraction of second advantage in time. They took the lead during the initial second of the race thus forming an evaporation cloud while heat and smoke surged around their position.
At the initial turn which stood near the destroyed metro station the racers had to execute a challenging left-hand maneuver. Most racers slow down there. Not FlameWing. Its lava-boost enabled the cart to glide across the heat-glowing magma without its fully touching the red-hot metal structure. Sparks ejected behind the kart while another two vehicles trailing it lost control in the attempt to replicate its pathway. The chaos gave InfernoBlade enough space to sneak through with precision until one of his rivals smashed into the hazard pillar. The contact with his adversary triggered his Burning Momentum while you could observe flames rising within his engine core.
