🔮 Conclave Arcana Pre-Sale: My progress and game plan

The Conclave Arcana pre-sale in full swing, and as of the time of writing has just over 10 days remaining.

With all of us Summoners preparing for battle and the Splinterlands world unfolding before us, for the social media challenge I decided to provide a small update for my account.

But first let me introduce myself, I'm @easilykilled and last year I returned to Splinterlands after a long break, I enjoy the opportunities in web3 and crypto and have been a long-time lover of all things TCG.

✨ My Personal Strategy for presale

In my last post I mentioned my pre-sale strategy and talked about trying to reach the various rewards on offer, for me the promo cards of Arcane Skinwalker a rare and Gramel the Hunger legendary card are very exciting as they both look to make use of the new bloodline mechanics.

👁️‍🗨️ Pre-Sale Strategy Update

My main goal during the pre-sale is to reach the legendary promo minion. These cards look great, and buying in early offers some great benefits, this allows us to continue getting our decks ready for the modern update, and add some great additions as well. I don’t want to miss out on them, luckily we have still some time to move our funds around to reach our goals <3

For myself this means I added a few more packs

I have a few more days to get my funds ready to still reach my goals but I am very happy to get these packs as well, this brings the total number of packs I have to:

• 4 Legendary packs
• 11 Alchemy packs
• 1 Standard pack

It also means the progress to our goal of a legendary is over half way, this still means I have a few packs to purchase and I need to carefully consider which of the packs to buy. Guaranteed Legendary card vs guaranteed Gold Foil card, or quantity with the standard packs as I will need to build my collection of the new set from 0.

Along the way, I’m also picking up a few Mage Wagons— I have earned 2 and if I reach my goal will bring the total to 4, this allows me to take part in the Conflict events. A way to potentially win some other great cards in the coming months, as the leaderboard winners design their summoners.

🏆 What are leaderboard rewards

There are a bunch of additional rewards on offer for participating in the presale and as you can see the first 6 get to design their own archon which will be introduced into the game at a later date.

Not only that but they also will receive max level copies of the card they end up designing, which adding to the Black Foil copy of Arcane Skinwalker they receive means at least they will have 2 guaranteed Black foil cards.

Every 1000 DEC or credits also gives you an entry into the raffle for some very nice prizes

👁️‍🗨️ Setback, maybe?

Another addition to my account was the decision I made to start getting involved (maybe) in land, I purchased my first 1 and have been getting it setup. It was a costly purchase and buying the core, and staking the needed DEC have all taken away from my CA purchasing power 😅

Final Thoughts

Do I think I will reach my goal, yes!! I definitely do think I'll reach my goal, I have had to cut back on a bit of spending but was happy to show some support to the game was more than happy to buy some (not to mention the juicy rewards).

Will I win anything from the raffles? honestly I do not expect to, so if I end up getting anything I will be extremely grateful.

I will create a post at the end of the presale and we can see if I was able to make my goals, if we have any luck with the raffle and where I ended up on the leaderboard.
