DuceCrypto's S175 - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 88 Report Card

Well, there's only 1 hour left in Season 176, so you know what that means -- I'd better hustle to submit my Splinterlands Report Card for Season 175 before that data set expires. What's new?!
S175 was another hugely successful campaign to start the year. I got to play plenty of Modern, my new bot service in Wild dominated the competition, SPS from land continues to pour in, and I earned more season-end Glint than ever before. Let's jump into the numbers!
Match Report
Performance
| Stat | # Modern | # Wild |
|---|---|---|
| Rank | Champion I47 | Champion I19 |
| Rating | 4620 | 5400 |
| Rating High | 4700 | 5440 |
| Ratio (Win/Loss) | 1.25 (176/141) | 2.01 (153/76) |
| Longest Streak | 9 | 16 |
All things considered, S175 might have been my best combined Ranked season when looking at my finishing rating across both formats. In Modern, I had a high water mark of 4700 before slipping back down to 4620 by the end of the season. I finished the season 35 battles over .500 with a win rate of 55.5%, registering 176 wins over 317 battles. The 4620 rating was enough to put me inside the Top50 for 150K Glint.
In Wild, the new Splinterhub bot finished the season with an amazing W:L ratio of over 2:1. For every two battles won, it only lost one. The exact win rate was 66.8% for 153 wins from 229 total battles. That is a very impressive win rate for the first season of the new bot's open beta. I think the win rate may drop a little bit as more people begin to use this stronger automated option, but it will be my preferred automation tool for the foreseeable future.
Tournaments Report
No surprise here, far too many flees once again. My tournament results for S175 were pathetic, despite bringing home a decent chunk of 6537 SPS from the @sps.dao events. Of the 22 events I played in S175, I completed all my battles in just 6 of them. Thankfully, of those 6 that I completed, I made Day 2 in 5 of them, earning myself two Top10 finishes and two more Top20 finishes.
In 9 of the 22 events, I fled Day 1 and completely pissed away my DEC registration fee. In 3 other events, I won a few battles and fled the rest for a minimum prize, and in 4 events, I made it to Day 2 but then fled from all of my Day 2 battles.
My tournament play will improve, one way or another. If I still cannot make the time to get my battles submitted in the morning, I may finally turn to a scholar to help me out when I am short on time. This DuceCrypto account deserves to be at the top of the standings, whether I'm running it or someone else is. No more sitting on the sidelines giving away free wins. It makes me sick!

Well, if the tournament portion made me upset, then the rewards section definitely cheered me back up. I earned nearly 10K SPS from just Modern ranked battles, and almost 3.5K from Wild. In total, I earned 13458 SPS from the two ranked modes.
In Modern ranked, I earned 9997 SPS from 176 wins over 317 battles. That works out to an average of 56.8 SPS per win and 31.5 SPS per battle.
In Wild ranked, I earned 3461 SPS from 153 wins over 229 battles. That works out to an average of 22.6 SPS per win and 15.1 SPS per battle.
In ranked play combined, I earned 13458 SPS from 329 wins over 546 battles. That works out to a combined average of 40.9 SPS per win and 24.6 SPS per battle. I wonder how much these numbers would change if I increased my Modern win rate from 55% to 65%? Hopefully, I'll get good enough one day to find out!
⭐ SPS Report
| Type | ⭐ Amount |
|---|---|
| Staking Rewards | 1996.528 |
| Ranked Rewards as above | 13458.053 |
| Brawl Rewards | 459.010 |
| Land Rewards | 22611.164 |
| NET SPS | 38524.755 |
Maybe I was wrong about my staking rewards decreasing as people unstaked SPS for the Escalation presale. Maybe so many people unstaked SPS that my share of the SPS staking rewards actually increased because I unstaked less than the average user? Whatever the reason, I'm happy to see my staked SPS rewards inching closer to 2K than ever!
Brawl rewards seem stuck under 500 SPS per season, even though we are getting around three brawl cycles each season. Maybe if we got back to finishing in first place consistently each cycle, then we would get seasonal returns over 600 SPS. But while we still have inconsistent play at Tier 5, we will not be able to slide into first place so easily.
That leaves me to talk about my Land rewards, which exceeded 22K SPS this season. I just added two more active occupied plots in my grain-producing region to further strengthen my SPS mining capabilities. I have 12 occupied plots active across three different regions, supported by growing LP positions for grain, wood, stone, and iron. I'm hoping that in a few months, my surplus will have stabilized, and I'm able to use my LP positions to pay off the supply deficits I have. I'm still paying a bit more DEC out of pocket than I would like for resources in the short-term, but long-term, I am pleased to be stacking limited-supply assets like SPS and soulbound Aura, rather than the other resources.
In summary, Season 175 was another gloriously successful campaign for DuceCrypto. We played some of our best stuff in Modern ranked, and the new automation tool from Splinterhub dominated in Wild. There is Survival Mode returning in Season 177 to look forward to. Always something new happening in Splinterlands, and that's why I love this game so much. The game always feels fresh to me!
Looking back at the total SPS earned from rewards (38524) and tournaments (6537), I earned a whopping 45061 SPS combined. At today's spot price of 0.006 USD, that amounts to $270 worth of our @sps.dao governance token! Of course, there's also over 1.5M Glint, thousands of merits, hundreds of new reward cards, and other consumables like potions, scrolls, and energy that my account earns daily as well.
If you like strategy, collecting, and/or TCG economies, Splinterlands is definitely the place for you. After over 4 great years playing Splinterlands, I can't imagine playing any other game. This is truly the best Web3 TCG in the world, and I'm so glad to be here! Thanks for stopping by to check out my Splinterlands Seasonal Report Card for S175. Until next time...
