Another new season and more personal bests to report! Win rates are up, survival is pumping, and my Conclave Arcana set is filling out nicely. Let's get to the numbers.

In S162, I set a new high rating of 5000 in Modern ranked play with a 15-game win streak and winning more than two-thirds of my battles (67.4% to be exact). Considering that I was mostly sneaking these Modern battles in during a European holiday, I couldn't believe I played almost as many battles in Modern as in Wild.
Despite my higher win rate in Modern, I enjoyed a higher leaderboard finish in Wild. This speaks to the community's desire for higher rewards and more human vs human battles. I try to prioritize Modern battles, but some seasons are better than others. In Wild, the bot finished with a 60% win rate in 194 battles.
Due to a user error I made with my bot settings, I actually started the season with 100 battles in Survival Mode, which made it really tough to compete in the early season tournaments and delayed my start to playing in Modern ranked. I didn't unleash my full collection in Survival Mode again until there were three days left in the season.
By that time, the reward pools were drained, and I wasn't earning as much as I was last season. But the competition was tough and the battles were challenging, which is everything I want from a strategy game. I managed a 66% win rate in Survival Mode with 277 battles played, more than Modern or Wild.

Some of my tournament results show up, but not all of them unfortunately. Going off my completed tournament records, I earned 13307.7 SPS from 26 @sps.dao events that I entered. I missed Day 1 in 8 of the events and missed Day 2 in two more, uggh!
On the bright side, I played in and cashed all of the high-end events (800 and 1600 DEC entry fee) during S162. I took 1st place in the Conclave Arcana Gold Foil Intermediate event. I placed in the Top 8 in three events and Top 16 in nine events.
On average, I earned 511.8 SPS from the 26 events I entered, despite all the flees. Just imagine how well I could do if I managed to actually play in all of my tournament events. Maybe one day...

Well would you look at those Ranked rewards! Survival is back down under 10K SPS for the full Season S162, but again, that's because I started playing about a day or two late and missed the reward pool when it was at its fattest. 9676 SPS though is still a big game and works out to an average of 52.9 SPS per win and 34.9 per battle.
In Modern, I earned a total of 3968 SPS, for an average of 34.2 SPS per win and 23 SPS per battle.
In Wild, I earned a total of 1753 SPS, for an average of 15 SPS per win and 9 SPS per battle. Based on this data, I'm definitely wasting my energy in Wild, but it's still better than nothing when I am too busy to play Modern myself.

Another stacked SPS report totaling over 20K SPS! It looks like the SPS from land rewards continues to climb each season as people take workers out of the shard mines and onto other resource-generating plots. I'm earning nearly 3000 SPS each season now from my 1 rare occupied plot.
Staking rewards increase as my stake increases, while brawl rewards stayed mostly flat from last season around 600 SPS. About 15.4K SPS from Ranked rewards still seems unreal, but I'll keep battling in Survival until the team turns the faucet off. I'm not in love with the format, but I won't say no to more SPS payouts. Well, at least until a survival proposal comes out, then I'd probably vote "No." But we'll see how this new season plays out with half of the reward pool from previous seasons.
All told, S162 was another successful season with new a high rating in Modern (5000) and over 20K in SPS rewards. Combining the 20384 SPS rewards with the 13307 SPS from tournaments gives me a seasonal SPS total of 33691! Using today's spot price of 0.0075 USD, I earned over $250 worth of SPS.
I'm gonna need it to afford all these Black Foils I want to fill out my Conclave Arcana collection. But who am I kidding, I don't unstake SPS. I only spend my liquid tournament winnings! Hopefully that will be enough for another Black Foil Common. We'll see what the market provides. Until next time...
