# DuceCrypto's S157 - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 70 Report Card
@ducecrypto
WOW WOW WOW! With Survival Mode on top of two ranked formats, @sps.dao tournaments, and brawls, I've never been busier playing battles in Splinterlands. I'm also earning more SPS than I ever have now that I am paying more attention to Survival Mode. No time to waste, let's jump into the numbers!

In S157, I set another new personal best with a Modern rating of 4700, although I slipped back down to 4600 by season's end. I finished the season ranked in 45th place for a nice leaderboard Glint bonus too! I won 178 of my 316 Modern battles for a win rate of 56.3%
In comparison, I (my bot) only played 273 battles in Wild format. This is the first time in quite a long time that I have had enough time to play more manual Modern battles than automated Wild battles in a season. XBot was ruthless in battle, playing up to a rating of 5600 for a 13th-place finish. XBot's win rate in Wild ranked was at an extremely strong 63%!
In Survival Mode, I managed to win 97 of 161 battles for a win rate of 60%. I wasn't able to make the climb out of Silver League, though. For most of the season, I only play Survival Mode with my extra cards, as I do not want to risk any of the cards I use for tournaments and ranked play.
I have a bunch of duplicate soulbound reward cards, and even delegated a few cards from my rental account that weren't renting, to play with during the season. But over the last 2 days of the season, I went all in on Survival Mode, playing with my full collection and forgoing the tournaments. As we'll see in the Ranked Rewards section, I think this decision paid off well.

Above are only the streamer events I joined during the season, but the majority of my tournament success came from playing in the @sps.dao public tournaments. In S157, I registered for 29 tournaments, but I fled Day 1 in nine of them and fled Day 2 in two more events. One of the flees was in the premier Wild Diamond Gold Foil event, which is typically a four-digit SPS payday, so it hurt to miss that one!
Nonetheless, I still managed to bring home 15076 SPS in prizes from the 20 events I remembered to play in time. I made Top 4 three times in the season, with all three of those finishes being first place victories (Wild Gold GF, Modern Gold GF, and Untamed/Rebellion Diamond GF)! I placed in the Top 8 six more times.
Including all 29 events, I earned ~520 SPS per event. Take out the 9 events I fled from, and I averaged ~754 SPS per event. Those are some juicy SPS numbers and good reason to keep my main deck intact to battle in tournaments rather than going all in on Survival Mode all season long.
Rewards Report
Earnt Tokens (Ranked Rewards)
Ranked Play Wins | Tokens Received |
---|---|
894 | ✨ 742773 Glint |
Modern SPS Rewards Claimed | ⭐5760.706 SPS |
Wild SPS Rewards Claimed | ⭐3763.497 SPS |
Survival SPS Rewards Claimed | ⭐2267.589 SPS |
Season Rewards Claimed | ✨ 0 Glint |
Glint Spent | ✨ (387500) Glint |
Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.
The total of Ranked wins is quite a bit off, but those solid SPS numbers are on point. I earned 5760 SPS from 178 Modern wins, 3763 SPS from 172 Wild wins, and 2267 SPS from 97 Survival wins. Comparing the average SPS earned per win, I got 32.4 from Modern, 21.9 from Wild, and 23.4 from Survival. Considering I was only playing at Silver in Survival and Champion in Modern and Wild, I think there is much more SPS to be earned from Survival if I can jump up a few leagues next season.
I'm also not sure why the Glint number is so far off, but I received 1,295,495 Glint as my seasonal reward for S157. Based on my 350 ranked wins in Modern and Wild, I earned an average of 3701 Glint per win.
⭐ SPS Report
Type | ⭐ Amount |
---|---|
Staking Rewards | 1526.608 |
Ranked Rewards as above | 11791.792 |
Brawl Rewards | 492.916 |
Land Rewards | 898.923 |
NET SPS | 14710.239 |
Brawl rewards continue to decrease as more guilds join Tier 5, but everything else is looking up. My SPS Land Rewards have increased since I made the move to work a single Rare Occupied plot that I bought off a guildmate. I'm also using two of my three magical plots to craft aura for Midnight Potions (the other is my only stone-producing plot).
Well, would you look at those Ranked rewards! I earned a staggering 11791 SPS from playing in all three Ranked formats. I guess I'm finally getting my piece of the Survival Mode pie!
Lastly, the staking Rewards increased significantly, although I did not add much new SPS outside of what I earned in battle. My guess is that a lot of people unstaked SPS to burn for the Conclave Arcana presale, so my share of the staking rewards increased since I did not unstake any SPS.
What a huge season for Duce! Combining the 14710 SPS Rewards with the 15076 SPS from tournament prizes gives me a total of 29786 SPS earned for S157! At today's spot price of 0.0116 USD, that pile of SPS is worth over $345! Now that's what I'm talking about.
Next season will be the last Modern season with Chaos Legion and Rebellion before the release of Conclave Arcana pushes CL into Wild. It should be an exciting next few months in Praetoria. Until next time...

Ah yes, you've amassed a nice pot of SPS this season. Congrats 👏
Insane this Survival mode. I'm curious what kind of data they're looking for it to be successful. Everything needs to compete with the value of a card on land.
