DuceCrypto's S156 - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 69 Report Card
Woo Hoo! 69 seasons of the Ranked Rewards system that we have now, with rShare, which has since spawned the rise of Glint, loot chests, and seasonal lotteries for all kinds of soulbound goodies for people's accounts. That is on top of all the $SPS Token, the governance and reward token from @Splinterlands @sps.dao that I earn through Ranked, Survival, Tournament, and Land pursuits!!!
Last season, with a focus on tournaments and modern play, I cleared 20K SPS and nearly $300 at the spot price of that report card. Let's see how I stack up in the third season of survival with a little more focused attention at the end of the season.

Across the board, those felt like some strong numbers for my high-water ratings this season, and placing on the Top 100 leaderboards in all three formats was a nice cherry on top! The large loss in Champion rating must be from the bot playing at the end of the season with some key cards lost to Survival mode. Lesson learned. Try and maybe navigate it better in modern or manage the energy better!
Sadly, across the board, I definitely fell off a bit against the tougher competition. I haven't turned the bot on at all in Survival mode and I'm curious how it would stack up with what I'm putting up, both with my extra cards in season and with the full collection at the end. Maybe next season, we'll see how this goes again with a bit more support from cards that didn't find a home on my rental account @gigacrypto.
4700 was a new Personal High rating for me in Modern ranked. I had a bit more free time with my Spring Break holiday, so I might have even bought 50-100 more energy on some of those weekends! I love the thrill of the battle! In 207 Modern battles, I won 124 for a 60% win rate. The bot only managed 53.8% rate in modern, but it is a bit flawed due to Survival.
I still played the most battles in Wild with the bot running, but most of that was at the beginning of the season with all the extra energy from the loot chests. The bot is much better able to burn through large piles of energy that I can, so I typically let it run at the start of the season when I'm popping all my new loot rewards for soulbound cards and energy, preferably!
With Champion 2 & 1 chest rewards opened in both ranked formats, I turned my attention to the Survival format with 5+ days left in the season. I turned my collection over a few times while balancing with my GF tournament usage. I wasn't able to escape Silver 1 by EoS and shut it down, meaning I got sent back to Silver 3 on the reset, an unfortunate setback. My deck isn't deep enough, so I'm struggling to make sustained runs in this format.
In Survival, I won 140 battles in a total of 241 for a 58.1% win rate, a solid showing. But I need better to climb these charts to get to the juicier rewards in this format. The SPS is worth it! Time to level up the collection a bit more while people are looking elsewhere.

My SPS tournaments earnings, which I track separately, is showing strong returns with some tight play and a beefy collection. I earned 16503.1 SPS this season in 32 total events entered, not counting the promotional stream tournaments. I event took down one of those @bulldog1225 stream events for a few packs. Snoochie Boochies mate, thanks for the event!
All that earning, but there was still wasted potential fleeing in 7 events and missing day 2 in another. I've got to be tighter with my timing and concede that maybe I won't get to see the results of my tournament by being able to play in the last few minutes (like in brawls, sorry).
Remarkably, I won over 1K SPS in 7 different events in the season, and took down 1st place in 2 events with a Top 4 in another. Overall, 16K over the season is strong performance and worked out to 660 SPS average from the 25 events I actively played in over the course of the season. For the record, I spent 13450 DEC to sign up for all 32 events I played in Season 156!

With the Survival totaled factored in, I earned a whopping 13076 SPS in the three combined formats. Incredible. I didn't win the 898 reported battles above, rather 185 in Wild, 124 in Modern, and 141 in Wild. Decent ratio, with each earning somewhat similarly for the different levels and leagues played at.
Survival leads the pack in earnings, so I likely need to optimize my non-base cards a little bit more because unused maindeck chaff can be key role players in Survival. Over 40% of my earnings came from Survival with only a few days of attention, so my seasonal strategy might need a bit more time optimization to increase earnings in this key format... we need to start rating higher in levels!
Let's not forget to shout that beefy 1325 SPS amount even though my production was unchanged from before. It is up nearly 3x from before the resource update, so many people have shut down SPS mines. Am I crazy for leaving one on? We'll see!

All told, I cleared 15017 SPS in seasonal rewards across all 3 streams plus another 16503 SPS from tournaments for a total personal high 31520 SPS! Using today's spot price on April 20 of 0.013 USD, my earned SPS amounts to $410. This is great news with the Conclave Arcana set around the corner. I've been stashing $HBD just for this occasion. Let's hope for some fresh Black Foil luck come May and good luck securing your packs in the presale. I hope your bags are packed. Until next time...
