DuceCrypto's S150 - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 63 Report Card
Splinterlands hit its milestone 150th season as we began what's poised to be a huge 2025 for the game and the crypto market. I've reallotted my time playing the game to prioritize battling in the @sps.dao tournament events and that strategy paid off in a big way. My flees were way down and my earnings were way up.
Another season passed with me playing less than 100 battles in Modern, but I was still plenty busy playing all the tournament battles I signed up for. I challenged myself to play all formats in Silver, Gold, and Diamond Leagues, so I stayed busy competing at different levels and rulesets. This keeps my strategizing fresh since I'm constantly playing in changing battle conditions and card pools. What more can I ask for?

Another season and another strong performance in Ranked play. Although I didn't come close to making it up to Modern Champion 1 due to all the time I spent focused on tournaments, I still had a strong season playing my own Ranked battles. I did just enough to qualify for Champion 2 with a 4000 rating and stopped there.
I finished S150 with a solid record of 52 wins from 84 battles for an impressive 62% win rate. If I had more time to devote to Modern ranked, I think I could have eventually played back up to Champion 1.
On the Wild side, the automated battler again secured a Top 25 finish good for a 40000 DEC leaderboard prize. The bot ended the season ranked 21st, with 194 wins from 328 battles. Its 59% win rate was a few percentage points lower than mine in Modern, but it played 4x as many battles in Wild as I did in Modern. Any finish inside the Top 25 is good for me and helps cover my bills for SPS and card rentals.

---|---|
246 | ✨ 1159965 Glint + ⭐4555.239 SPS |
Season Rewards Claimed | ✨ 764255 Glint |
Glint Spent | ✨ (1734775) Glint |
Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.
Renting the extra SPS, beyond the 400K that I have earned, definitely paid dividends when it came to the Glint and SPS rewards received in S150. For the first time in months, I broke past the 1M mark and got 1,159,965 Glint, which I will happily spend on more epic and rare gold foil draws.
Although the Ranked SPS rewards came in a little lower than I'm used to at 4555 SPS, I did play less Modern overall. Plus, with the huge bags of SPS I won playing tournaments, I'm not so concerned with the slightly lower SPS reward pool.
Based on my 246 combined wins in Ranked play during S150, I averaged an impressive 4715 Glint and 18.5 SPS per win! Those are solid figures, long may it continue!

I'm still renting a handful of Wild cards to help me in tournaments and ranked play, but it is not a huge commitment. I've got a few that I really like to use and hopefully, I can save up to buy them later this year. But for now, I will continue to rent these 10 cards until I can add them to my permanent collection.

Let's start with my greatest source of earned SPS for S150 -- @sps.dao tournaments! In the past, my track record for competing in these events was decent, if I remembered to play in the events. Fleeing from events was a big problem for me previously, but now I'm prioritizing playing in these events ahead of Ranked play.
The results speak for themselves, as I earned a whopping 13,472.29 SPS in prizes from SPSDAO tournaments in S150. I only fled all my battles in five of my 24 tournaments and didn't miss either of the premium Diamond League Gold Foil events. I earned SPS prizes from every single event I managed to play at least one battle in, averaging 709 SPS in prizes from those 19 events I played.
My tournament winnings are about 3x as much as the SPS I earned from Ranked battles, so the data speaks for itself. My prioritization of tournament play led to a huge increase in tournament winnings and overall SPS earned in S150. Staking rewards continue to creep higher as I add more staked SPS rewards to my stash each season. I'm currently sitting at 408K SPS staked.
Brawl rewards are back over 800 SPS as I dutifully remembered to submit all my Brawl battles this season. Unfortunately, as more guilds join Tier 5, those big Brawl payouts from the beginning of the year have dried up a bit and we are earning a bit less than 300 SPS each cycle.
Finally, next season should see my SPS land rewards increase as I recently bought a 6th plot, a grain-producing rare plot, that I am currently using to mine SPS. Once the Land 1.75 update goes live, I will switch this plot back to grain farming since this is the only grain-producing land I own on my main account.
In conclusion, Splinterlands' 150th season to start 2025 was another personal best for me in terms of earned SPS and tournament play. I ended the season Top 25 in Wild ranked good for a 40K DEC leaderboard prize, and Top 100 in Modern Champion 2 with a 62% win rate.
I earned 7593.762 SPS from the various SPS Rewards and another 13,472.29 SPS from tournaments, totaling 21066 SPS for S150. At today's (depressed) SPS spot price of 0.007 USD, I still earned over $147 worth of SPS in addition to the 1M+ Glint from Ranked rewards. Despite the low sticker price, I continue to stack my SPS as it grows my stake and influence in the game, especially important since our SPS Validator network will be coming online soon. Decentralization is on the way! Until next time...

Great report! How much SPS did you rent for this season?
I rent about 450K SPS for my main account, which brings me close to 900K SPS for the battles I typically play in Diamond 1 and Champion 3. I don't usually have much time left in my season to battle in Champion 2.
Interesting, thanks for sharing. I might look into renting more SPS and see how that works for my account.
I would strongly recommend finding a whale and doing a p2p deal that renews at the start of each season. I find that much easier and more consistent than going to the SPS rental market every 7 days.
Fantastic tip, thank you for the suggestion. If I end up renting SPS I'll try that route!
