Purchasing 5 New Epic Cards For My Collection

I recently purchased 50 card packs with the Starbits I had been saving up for many months. I thought that with the recent price changes, there might be some variation in the pack contents — but I was wrong. It seems my luck is just as bad as it’s always been!

Moving forward, I feel it’s more beneficial for me to focus on purchasing unique cards I don’t yet own, or targeting cards that strengthen the regions where my collection is lacking.

That being said, I finally withdrew my Starbit Millionaire earnings, which I hadn’t touched since my return. I managed to run the mission for a solid 173 days, stacking up a nice amount of Starbits. With those earnings, I went ahead and purchased a bunch of cards I didn’t already have, including five rare cards and five epic cards from the market at decent prices.

I will be on the lookout for more rare cards I've yet to own but the downside is that most fully issued cards are listed for quite out of range prices for most people and I don't see myself forking out a small fortune to own a single card just to say I have it in my collection, when monthly tens or hundreds of new cards are added to the pool.

Thankfully most of these rare cards are reasonable in prices and I am 5 new uniques happier. Definitely need another rare card shopping spree soon once I stack up some more Starbits.

The Epic card purchases were all in the range of about 63,000 to 75,000 Starbits. I can see myself going up to around 100,000 Starbits for a card, but no more — I just don’t think it’s worth it beyond that. Maybe if it’s a unique card, sure, but honestly, I don’t care that much. I could just pick up newer Epic cards for half the price and boost my stats more effectively.

Purchases + Fees = 391,800 + 20,452 = 412,252 STARBITS

So in total, I’ve spent around 412k out of the 1,730,000 I withdrew, leaving me with 1,318,000 Starbits.

I’m planning to shop around and check prices for more Epic cards. Ideally, by my next post, I’ll have gained a solid number of fans, unique cards, and a boost in skill points. As for skill points — I might need to grab some more STARPRO soon, since I’ve already used up the last batch I bought.
