Rodna Mountains & Actifit Report Card: June 21 2022
The Rodna Mountains are located about 200km away from where I currently live in the northern part of Romania, not far from the border with Ucraine.
The highest peak 2300m, that's not alot in world standards, but you try to hike at least half of those 2000m and see how easy it is :)
When I was in highschool and a couple years after we used to go there in large enough groups (10-15-20 people) and camp at the base of the mountains, sleeping in tents for a few days in a row, usually not many overstay more than 5 days, but depending on the resources we had with us, meaning food and alcohol, some of us would stay even longer, especially if the weather was good.
Even to this day I have noi idea about the name of those mountain flowers, maybe someone can give me an idea.
