The Bloodline's Division: Is The Rock Plotting a Coup?
Hello guys, it's DoTheMathOnHive and just like The Rock said, for years now, Wrestling is finally cool again.
It was during my reading of wrestling news that I came across something curious about “The Bloodline”.
That Roman Reigns’ group has The Rock all over it. This has had me thinking if there is a problem with the group.
Now, there’s this WWE Hall of Famer – Mark Henry who believes there is division within The Bloodline. He mentioned it on Busted Open podcast.
Though I do not personally know him, he seems knowledgeable when it comes to wrestling.
After all they have been shaking hands and hugging each other on TV, but when somebody like Mark Henry says that The Rock is not exactly standing with roman reigns and the rest of the bloodline anymore, you start to wonder.
To Mark Henry, The Rock isn’t just ready yet for Roman Reigns to be his final boss in the bloodline. According to him, The Rock may still be playing ‘safe’ rather than going full blast behind Romans. For me then why should he do that?
I mean he is a great name for wrestling right? When he joined them shouldn’t have he gone all in with the blood line?
There was also talk of Mark Henry about Roman Reigns needing to be more assertive if he is indeed the leader of The Bloodline.
He maintained that Reigns should be telling The Rock to get in line and unite with the gang, but he is not doing that. Like Reigns is not taking charge as he should if he were that boss.
Now, all this talk of division and tension within The Bloodline has got me wondering what will happen next?
More so given that after eight years, The Rock returns to the ring with Reigns at WrestleMania XL. That’s a big thing isn’t it? But could there be trouble amongst The Bloodline affecting their match?
Frankly, I don’t know if WWE star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has any plans for taking over The Anoa’i family tree or wrestling faction collective known as ‘The Bloodline’.
These are just theories for now. It also makes sense because it’s great storytelling in pro-wrestling TV shows. Just think about it: if Dwayne turns on his cousin at WrestleMania during their match…that would be a really big moment.
What are we going to do? I’ll be watching the The Bloodline saga unfold, no matter what.
Wrestling is all about unexpected things happening, and it seems that this is one of those moments when things might not go as expected; surely this is one of those stories that can keep someone on tenterhooks.
One thing’s for sure: fans of wrestling have an interesting journey ahead of them until WrestleMania 40. I am particularly eager to see how everything will end up in the ring.
