SplinterLands - What direction with land?

In my plan to be self sufficient (Last land related post) and with the announcement, in land barons channel on Discord, that Aura Lab Permit will be soulbound I had to make a decision on whether to work towards bringing a research plot on line, to enable me to get a permit, to then get another plot and finally build an Aura Lab that will eventually give me Midnight Potions....

So... I bought an additional plot, not got the workers to work it yet (like all my land) but I wanted to pick up a Magical plot and saw one cheap in a territory with some of my other plots. My latest land addition:-

I used a little DEC to add another Chaos Legion Gold Epic - Igor Darkspear to a plot that was sitting there with a power core doing nothing and increased my grain production slightly, every little helps!

A generous gift from our guild leader means I now have a "Legionnaire" title sitting on my highest producing grain farm, giving an additional 10% boost.

And finally for todays changes to my land adventure I added another common totem fragment so I'm up to 3 fragments. I have 5 of my plots already with a totem so will need to keep buying fragments when I can with the leftover DEC from card purchase's to get to full coverage.

The changes mean that, I go from a net negative grain to a positive, meaning I can increase my research plot slightly with my next purchase as I work towards the research needed (when it gets announced) to get the permit to turn my newly acquired plot into an Aura Lab.

Of course land is evolving quickly and requirements for conflict battle wagons may throw a spanner in the works as I continue along the self sufficiency path as missing out in the conflicts would hinder my ranked play that pays for the land 😀

I understand the case for self sufficiency but you can always swap excess resources for other ones you need in case you're unable to harvest those resources on your own. 😄

Yeah. And I will need to eventually, dont think you will ever - at my scale - get away from needing to go to the market but part of the fun is working on staying self sufficient as long as possible!

Great post. This game is getting very deep with all that's going on. Hopefully the masses discover it soon.

(Edited)

Lots of fun things happening around splinterlands, land is just getting started really and Conclave Arcana is going to bring the game some attention when the BFA's start dropping on socials

How many plots you running altogether? I've been starting to get mine turned back on slowly but surely. I have 26 currently, but only 5 up and running with a 6th under construction for switching worksites.

Only 8 plots at the moment and 7 have power cores and some PP on, when chaos rotates ill probably add some more PP

Do these values seems to be correct to you? Did you increase your production power on some of the plots?

Nice change! Something looks a little off though as I only changed my grain PP, do you have all taxes etc ticked because most of my problem is grain is in a different region
