Finished piece : Electric Friends

3marchHive1.jpg
His eyes belied his true Nature

Albert monkey chirruped and pranced like any 'natural' monkey, but his eyes gave way his enhancements.

He didn't mind as his Lady had such enhancements

Sometimes she'd stroke his soft fur with her warm soft fleshy hand, but it was her cool automaton hand which he now embraced. She often kept it scented in exotic oils and today she had pinned on a broach of gems and pearls.

She'd saw fit to wrap Albert in the cool shinning strand of pearls as well.

He held his ladies fan for her

He didn't mind being a pet; a companion. He was almost ALL monkey, with beating heart and flowing blood, sure his vision was more precise than his wild cousins and he also, like his Lady, had a bit more intelligence than any 'normals'. It was with this intelligence that he cherished her and his place in the world...The humming clean electric world of the Future.

I hope you enjoyed this little story of my monkey painting. You will recall I shared him recently in his sketchy stage:

He is actually part of a larger sketched out Singularity piece I had begun and set aside. Then when I was going through things to finish he just gave me that 'look' as if to say "Won't you please breath life into me"

And so I did, with more sketching and a bit of watercolor, but he would not be happy until he was done up in digital oils and pastels.

I know I always say I'm considering a thing for NFT
But, do you think he, and maybe some similar animal chums, would make good still NFT ? I'm just never certain?

Either way, I'm rather happy with the little fellow and now he can stop badgering me about being 'made done' and I can print him out and hang him on my little peg board of 'done projects' and decide if he is NFT or prints/products bound?

I always say... when in doubt, mint it out! hahaha The worst thing that could happen is someone doesn't buy your NFT. But, it will be there for whenever they do. If you don't mint it... nobody can ever buy it. So... i think it's a cool idea. The eyes are super cool on the monkey and it's an interesting read. But before i read... i thought he was holding a dust-buster! hahahahhaa

True, tho if I make it available as prints and on things ,it's 'sold' that way just en masse, so it's always that decision :) I've been poorly lax with NFT of late. @castleberry

Yes, me too. I haven't made too many sales even though i have been setting the price low. However, i haven't been advertising or marketing myself or my art... so.... LAX is right. =)

Look at those eyes! :) I think it is interesting, like looking at a little old man!

Mint it! What have you got to lose?

True @dswigle well just the 'print and items' sales as if I mint it I can't use it anywhere else, as NFT being scarce and all that :) I'll decide soon I suppose.
I hope you are well today :)
