Splinterlands Battle Of The Week: Splashing around
The Ruleset

- Rulesets - Blood and Sunder & Lost Legendaries
- Mana Cap - 20
- Active Elements -
Here's my starting lineup
Summoner: Kelya Frendul

- With the mana cap that I got I need a decently cheap summoner who I had in high level and also his element had to be a one where I had a great low mana team
- So in my case I went with water element as I had a great team there and Kelya Frendul because even tho I also had 3 mana summoner Kelya Frendul was higher level and also had one useful buff and other not that useful in this battle
- +1 speed was amazing but 1+ armor was kinda useless as Blood and Sunder was active
1st Position: Cruel Sethropod

- Cruel Sethropod was my main tank for this battle
- Main reason I like Cruel Sethropod here a lot is his high hp and armor for only 3 mana
2nd Position: Creeping Ooze

- Creeping Ooze is a great monster to play in almost any low mana cap battle as he only costs 1 mana and you get a one hit tank who possible could get 1 hit off himself and also his amazing Slow ability
- Slow - -1 speed to all enemy units
3rd Position: Uraeus

- Uraeus, my favorite Sneak monster
- You just get so many stats for only 3 mana
- Sneak - Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit
4th Position: Pelacor Bandit

- Next up in line is my second Sneak monster
- Almost the same monster except you get the bonus Flying ability for the cost of Pelacor Bandit being only playable in water element not like Ureaus who is neutral and playable in almost any battle
- Sneak - Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit
- Flying - +25% chance to evade physical attacks. No effect if the attacker also has Flying. Immune to Earthquake
5th Position: Crustacean King

- Crustacean King was my first and only healer for this team
- I was considering second healer also but I felt like that would have possible been too much
- Also for 3 mana getting Tank Heal and 1 ranged damage is very good in my opinion
- Tank Heal - Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down) to the allied unit in the first position
6th Position: Pirate Captain

- For last but not least just a simple ranged monster
- Pirate Captain was also my backline tank for this game
- Nothing really to say here other than that I picked him over second healer just because my second healer had 0 attack and if he should prove to be useless I would have just lost 3 mana for nothing
- Snipe - Magic and ranged attacks target the first non-melee enemy unit behind the first position
Starting board

- Already after seeing the starting board I was confident I would win because my enemy had two levels lower summoner and therefor also lower level monsters
- But my predictions could still be off by a mile so lets start the battle and have a look
Here's how the battle went
1st Round

- After first round my prediction were correct as I already took down two of his backline monster without losing almost anything of my side other than my armor on three monsters
- But anything could still happen so lets keep watching
2nd Round

- After 2nd Round the battle board was starting to look quite empty on my enemies side
- Even tho my tank had only 1 hp left I was not scared at all as I still so much damage left and if I manage to hit every attack I have in the next round the battle should be over anyway
- Lets see how I did and if I managed to close up that battle fast or did my enemy pull some trick from this deck
3rd Round

- It took me 1 turn to kill my enemies last standing monsters
- After his Cursed Windeku and Life Sapper had fallen I took the victory

Summary
- This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
- Sadly not really something overpowered to take away from this battle but still fun battle and maybe you find something yourself you would like to try out yourself in your Splinterlands battles
