Poker, Trivia, Movies, Chess, and Giveaway's

If any of you attended the Hive.Pizza talk at HiveFest you may know that one of the many ways Hive.Pizza is looking to build value and community here on Hive is through onboarding and user engagement. Part of that process is being a bridge for new users to make onboarding as smooth and easy as possible. As part of that the team is working hard to build an onboarding adventure to make it easy for new users to get onboarded to Hive and to acquire their first few tokens. I am not in a position to share any details of that yet but I do want to highlight some of the recent updates and changes in the Discord to help attract new users to Hive and PIZZA!

We already have a culture in the Hive.Pizza Discord of helping new users on board by answering questions, providing advice, links, and helping them get started on Hive with delegations or tips and tricks. The team has built tools like the HiveDappMenu and StakeMyTokens to make it easier to find different frontends and Dapps on Hive, more convenient to interact with the chain and generally is focused on helping others. We've managed to pull in a slew of Splinterlands players to be involved with our three Pizza Guilds and have gotten many of them involved deeper into Hive through the community! I think building these kind of bridges for users unfamiliar with Cryptocurrency in general or Hive specifically is really important for the growth of our blockchain. PIZZA's recent integration with tip.cc has brought hundreds of users into the discord- some of whom now have hive accounts and wallets! The Discord server has grown into a place for users to share posts, game experiences, ask for help, and generally participate in an active community built around HIVE and PIZZA.

As part of that community building effort we've begun to run community events in the Discord on a regular basis. We've had great success so far with community trivia nights run through tip.cc bot and had 20-30 people participating in our first few trivia nights! Several people have run the Trivia so far including @thebeardflex and @creodas.

We've been enjoying our regular Movie nights hosted in Discord channels by the wonderful @creodas. With lively text banter relating to the movies and such classic titles as Leprechaun, Cockneys vs Zombies, Willy's Wonderland, and several others Pizza and Movie Night's have become a regularly attended event in our Discord.

We also have a couple of larger events coming up with TASTY PIZZA prizes! On Sunday the 28th of November we will host our first Bi Weekly Poker Tournament with 300 PIZZA and 10000 Starbits available in prizes! The event will be hosted in the Discord using the built in Poker game! We've had a few test games of Poker already and I'm happy to report that I've won 15000 Discord Dollars so far!

We will be running Chess tournaments going forward! The first of which will be on Dec 5th with PIZZA prizes as well as an EXCLUSIVE PIZZA CHESS NFT for the Champion. The first season of PIZZA chess will be four rounds with the four Champions being pitted against each other for Grandmaster status in the fifth round. Thanks to @cryptoniusrex for spearheading this one and coming up with concept! I've also heard there are bounties on a few PIZZA chessheads.
