Greeting Fellow Splinterlands Summoners

I am a bit outdated here, I still think there always be some update posts about Splinterlands, such as AMA Post or Town Hall. The last Town Hall was talking about many stuffs, but the most important thing for me was the release date of the new soulbound edition, for the Conclave Arcana edition.

The date is not published in specific, but it is definitely some when in this October 2025. This is a great news but not a good one for me, regarding I am on a break from most of Splinterlands activities due to health issue. I am recovering but I still reduce the time I spend in front of my laptop.

See it for yourself. I was not in the last guild brawl. However this will end next week, I will start playing again tomorrow.

so back to my main concern, I haven't finished my Soulbound Rebellion edition yet. I guess I should not wait for more, just open as soon as I see some Glint are ready.

I only have 75.902 Glint today, So I guess I could buy 5 Gold Foil Rare cards now. I can only pray that I would get the cards I need so the next period I will aim for the Epic Draw.

This is actually a great purchase. I get Qualliun Legionary and Dark Arborist. However due to 5 cards purchase, I can not expect it will be a multiple copies on them. I know well this means I will have no change in my line up.

My Selection

Now let see what I have in my Rare Selection.

Let see what re my targets before I could decide to move forward to the epic draws.

1. Quilliun Legionary, 1 more copy. I need this guy to reach level 4 and I already have 2 copies of him. On his level 4 he will get void ability, which is perfect for him to help him withstand magic attack.
2. Janni Rebel, 1 more copy. I need her to reach level 4 for the extra health point. She is definitely a tank, so a health point plays great part for her.
3. Dark abolist, 1 more copy. On her level 4, she will gain an extra magic damage. That extra magic damage is very important, because it will make her able to hurt target with void ability. Void Ability will null all incoming 1 damage magic attacks.

HIGHLIGHTED BATTLE

It will not a good Splinterlands post if we don't employ in a battle, right?

So what i this battle about?

Regarding we are talking about soulbound, this battle is showcasing why I push hard on myself getting the right soulbound cards for myself on the right level.

I do not have high budget to get many core edition cards so I am turning my effort into the soulbound cards. In this battle, every units are below silver league cap level, except for one.

Giant Alpine Skink... This is a common soulbound card which I have acquired up to level 6, and I am happy with it regarding this Giant Alpine Skink has that Phase ability. He could dodge incoming magic attacks!!!

And that is not a silly joke. Until the last round of this battle, none of my opponent could kill this Giant Alpine Skink. It is a perfect victory for my team regarding none of us get killed after we wipe all our opponent's units.

Through this battle, I hope I could convince you all to give your best to get those soulbound cards before they get discontinued, or before you have run out of your chance and forced to buy some copies in the market, which mean spending for something you could get for free.

Soulbound cards is not everything in this Splinterlands, however for casual and low budget players such as myself, they are the backbone of my lineup. I could get strong line up without having to spend big, just participating in rank battles daily. I could compete in highest Tier Guild thanks to them too. So I still do not understand why some people crying for not able to buy more cards but they do not give their best at getting a good one for free.
