Welcome to my Starbits Every Night, this is a routine post I make on a night time when I play Rising Star Game.

We had DASH BERLIN last week, this week we have 2NE1 as our weekly theme.

The Start - I am the best

2ne1 (read: twenty one) was famous back then from the start however only kpop fans knew them until they launched this single, I am the best. This was the first song that made them very famous internationally, not only in Korea or famous/known only to KPOP fans.

This is their signature song, the one that set foundation for the next upcoming Kpop Girl Band, including the most popular right now, Blackpink. They broke stereotype that asian girl group must be super pretty, cute and lovely, dancing cutely singing a very girlish song.

Differentiation

One of the problem in Kpop Genre is that they like to use some template, including for their performance and how they look. Let's see another successful Kpop Girl group in the same period with 2ne1, SISTAR

They all look the same. Can you point out which one is So You? let me give you some hint... She is pretty, her face glowing, she has wavy long brunete hair, and her eyes are slanted... now that sounds like racism, but I bet for non asia, those hints mean nothing because all look the same.

Ok, I must put this right. I am not mocking Sandara Park despite she liked to perform with bizarre hairdo. From my opinion, she is one of the prettiest south korean singer and even until today on her 40 years age, she is still prettier than most new girl group members.

Overall the music genre and performance from 2NE1 is very different from the rest for KPOP girl group in those years.

Music Genre - RAP and RnB

One of the reason why I brought up 2ne1 this week because they were the only Kpop Girl Group whose music I could digest that time. I wasbarely able to understand most KPOP girls song which most of them were just trying to look cute singing a very girlish song which I could not even relate or connect with the lyric and rhythm.

Maybe because I am a guy so I could not connect with most of other kpop girl group songs. I am not saying I can connect with all 2NE1 songs, some of them have the same case which I can not relate at all such as falling in love, do you love me, and some more. But in general if I list some kpop songs sung by girl group that I can digest, those list will be dominated by songs from 2NE1.

PACKS OPENING

Everyday I encourage people to buy pack... yes buy packs and open them. The common question is which one is better, buying packs or buying cards directly from other players? Personally I prefer buying cards directly over buying packs. because it gives more precision on stats building. This leaves zero waste,for example sometime we get good cards from packs but we do not need those.

However recently I have decided I will keep buying packs and share my daily opening in this post because I believe buying packs give more benefit to the community.

• First it is somekind of starbits burning which hopefully might help starbits price to be more stable.
• Second with many new cards circulated, hopefully the card price will get stable too and this will help smaller players to grow.
