SATURDAY SAVERS CLUB - Focus on Tribe Token, Is It A Good Move?

Welcome to my weekly #saturdaysavers post, a saving update post that I regularly publish on HIVE as a participation in Saturday Savers Club. In that club, all of us here sharing our saving goals and saving updates.

Today is the lsst Sunday of March 2025, I do not wish to keep saying how hard life is in every Saturday Savers post, It is that damn very hard but there is a limit about talking about it, so I will change the topic to other issue... Although it is the same topic about how hard life is

It's about Tribe Token

It started with a long never ending discussion in some Hive Indonesian communities. Indonesian is a vast region with hundreds of tribes in it, so almost all Indonesian on Hive come with different culture and background. Everyone have their own point of view, even people from the same region, same tribe and custome, have different opinions and point of views.

So uniting all of them together is never been a easy or hard task, it is very hard and almost seemed impossible to be done. But we still try and try to do this.

The biggest challenge we have from old days until today, is the Hive Power. I still remember when I was starting writing, my Hive Power was less than 100, there were a bunch of Indonesian with thousands Hive Power. Today? Sadly I am one of the biggest Hive Power holder in Indonesian community. That's sad..

So without good HP, we are having difficulty to control masses. It's like doing cheese and stick, as long we have the cheese (HP) we can control people. however the good cheese has not ever been achieved yet. Once, in 2023 somehow we managed to agree to gather Hive Power as high as we could, individually... but right now for the sake of "I need to eat", most people sold their HIVE and that put me back to the top of HIVE POWER holder. Well we still have @ekavieka as the active HIVER who has the highest HP... but he is still far from being a Hive Orca.

It's in Bahasa Indonesia, so I don't expect all of you could understand what written there. Bottom line, I am trying to ask people, especially Indonesian Hivians, to use the same tribe tokens. My goal is simple, to add more value to their author rewards. If everyone use the same hashtag, same tribe tokens, it will be more effective!

However this still leave me a big question, will this move give a solid result later? Does Tribe Token give you real rewards, they are highly inflationary anyway.

I make a pool but it seems people ignore it because the lack of knowledge of tribe tokens. I do not believe there is the best tribe token on HIVE now, every tokens have their strength and weakness, each has their own unique selling point.

Anyway, you guys who aren't Indonesian may participate in pooling too to help me out. The goal is to get the most suitable Tribe Token for people who write in Bahasa Indonesia, not in English. I am encouraging Indonesian to write in our own language, something that big Indonesians haven't done before, because they got too fixated in getting upvotes from whales.

Ok that's for today chit-chat, Now let's see my saving update here..

PRIMARY TARGET : HBD SAVING

My primary goal is to grow my $HBD Saving, to reach 5.000 $HBD Saving in this year, 2025. That is an ambitious target regarding I started 2025 with 0 $HBD. Mathematically this means I need to get $95 HBD every week.

Look! Another 0 HBD saving, of course this is already predicted from some weeks ago. I am keeping all my $HBD in liquid form, and most of them are already withdrawn to cover up some real world cost.

5 straight weeks with 0 HBD.. Initially I thought this week would be the last one, but honestly... I think I will have to extend this 0 HBD sage for a few weeks a head.

My government, the Republic of Indonesia, has announced that the bank will be closed until 8 April 2025. So I believe this means the first 2 weeks I will have to be in 0 HBD savings because if my business needs fund, I have to get those from personal accounts and I will need those HBD to cover my living cost until the bank is open.

SECONDARY TARGET : HIVE POWER (HP)

Hive Power (HP) is very important for all Hivers who plan to stay long on this blockchain. For 2025, my secondary goal is to have 13.500 Hive Power (HP). It's not a big target and I want to make as many people realize that it is important to grow your Hive Power.

I have reached 10.952 HP this week, I think it is safe to say that next week definitely I will get above 11k HIVE POWER. That number is not my milestone but I still think it is a good number.

It seems that if I manage to post daily, my Hive Power will grow above 70 HP per week. However I do not want to take this as a necessity to post daily. I will make a post if I have got proper time, if not, then I won't force myself to post bad one.

As Hive Price right now is not at a good value, I do not have any intention to sell some of my liquid hive. I have 10 Liquid HIVE but it is intended for the HIVE POWER UP DAY on the day after tomorrow.
