My dCity Journal - Back To INCOME FOCUSED Again

Good Day Fellow dCity Major.

There isn't anything new in the last few weeks. Everyone has been waiting for the 4th edition cards, and it looks like most people are in wait and see situation. The SIM price is well stable at 0.75-0.78, which is a good thing actually, because we do not have to worry it might drop badly soon.

Anyway I do not make many change from the last one, everything has growth organic, without intervention by selling of buying NFT(s). You can see the rank of my dCity on last week and today in below table:

Yup, nothing change. Education and Creativity are like that, I see no point to push them up right now regarding it is not my priority right now.

My dCity looks good at this point, everything that suppose to be green are green, what are meant to red are red, and of course with some worker to employ.

It definitely shows me that I need to get some works opportunity for 41 workers in my dCity. I think this number is still under control, regarding I have 766 population in there. Well it is still below 10%, although a bit above 5%. But still ok laa...

This week I think I need to push up more basic income. 799$ SIM seems not enough to house in more NFT(s) especially from 4th edition that will drain the Max Income due to their 5 Tax Refund traits.

So let's get back to the basic then!

PUMP THE INCOME AGAIN

Ok my agenda today is simple, I will not do anything funny fancy or ground breaking. Just Pump my dCity INCOME, that's all!

The bad news is everything are not cheap anymore. I need to pay more than 2000 $SIM for 3rd edition building NFT such as Music Store and Ice Cream Shop. I used to buy them for less than 1000 $$IM.

I guess everyone has the same mindset as mine, they pump their BASE INCOME up so they can get many 4th edition cards later, which I do not know exactly when they will be released or sold.

Still, I have to buy them, those 12 NFTs for 31.100 $SIM. Damn, in the past, a few months ago, they might only cost me less than 10.000 $SIM. So these are my dCity right now, after I buy them..

It is exactly what I aim before, having an increase of 97 Basic Income... Honestly I aim for 100 Basic Income growth, but the NFT(s) are not enough, that why you can see a PIZZARIA there in my purchase list...

It is real that NFT(s) are getting scarce, you won't get them in bulk easily, individually yes you can, but it won't change anything on your dCity account.

Where I Am Now

In this round I will exclude @ramadhanight from our mini race. He has a newborn now, let him enjoys his fatherhood time, he needs to focus and prioritize that a lot more higher than anything, especially to games like this.

So this is becoming a duel between me against my friends @arveno, the future whale in HIVE LoL. This is a fun competitive race, so you won't have to worry about us. In fact I encourage you to get your par so you can compete for the fun.

I do not compete for the Education and Creativity, so we can forget about those two. The main race is about INCOME, however we know well that Population and Popularity play great part in deciding how big INCOME you can get from your dCity, they are like a depended variable there.

Basically Arveno has 182 more population than me, and those 182 population are the one that create difference in our INCOME. If I want to compete well against him, like it or not I need to push up my population too, I can't not rely on buying some NFTs that give Tax Refund without adding population. Those population will create BASE INCOME and that the raw source for TAX REFUND.

Our different on this round, 3rd June 2025 is about 257 $SIM INCOME. That's huge, as if I have to double my NET INCOME. For a Quick fix, I can just add 257 Student NFTs or 257 young citizen NFTs, however young citizen NFT are gone from the market right now. Someone just aped them all.

a quick fix, 257 student NFT... why did not I do that? because If I do, oneday, I don't know maybe the following weeks, or next month, or don't know when, they will become a professional or student (Debt). If I have hundreds of student changing profession at the same time, or the same week, it will be a disaster.

so I am avoiding that approach. Do you have any idea what I should do to chase him fast? please share your feedback here below.
