A New Grind For Conclave Arcane Rare Rarity Reward Card!

Greeting Fellow Summoners

As usual for every weekend here on Hive, Welcome to my Splinterlands post. Today I start the second step in grinding my new Conclave Arcana reward cards. I do not have enough Glint point to do this, however I think I need to get the right momentum here. I need to be able to play them as soon as possible, so I could excel using them in my line up.

So I have low expectation for today Card draws using the glint point. I do not want to have my ass frequently kicked due to not familiar with the new reward cards. So the goal is already different, it is not about efficiency or effectivity in card draws, but more like maintaining good win rate.

I could only buy 46 rare cards, which is far from good. But this is something I need to do a.s.a.p anyway. One thing that shocks me most, is the Gold Foil chance - 0.5%. It means I can have 0 gold foil too.

However Rare Rarity draw is not the same as common rarity draws, we can boost up using 5x potions. It means the Gold Foil chance will be 0.5% + 5x0.5% = 3%.

I am taking 46 cards, so the ideal result should give me 46 cards x 3% = 1.5 cards. Either I get 1 Gold Foil card, or 2 Gold Foil cards. I might get 3 Gold foil cards which is great, however there is a big chance I get 0 too.

So let see how high is my luck today

The result was a bad one. I got only 1 Gold Foil Rare card. Well It could be worse by getting 0 or nothing at all, however I was expecting 2 Gold Foil cards.

Personally I think this is harder than the rebellion reward cards. However we still have months a head, so don't know how it will be later. I can only hope my new Conclave Arcana reward cards selection will be great near this year Christmas, so I can play Splinterlands well during end of year holidays.

My Selection

There will be a good side and a bad side from today cards draw. Let's talk the bad side first. We have 12 cards for the rare rarity, I have got 46 new cards, this means if we give all type equally, each only has 3 to 4 copies.

4 copies of cards won't be enough to level up the cards. So I expect most of the cards won't have enough copies for their upgrades.

Now the good side, Luckily I have all those 12 cards right now. Most of them are level 1, some can be upgraded today, but again... I have them all. Even my luck is bad today, I still get what I need to get myself familiar with them.

And first of all, let see my first and sole Gold Foil rare card here.

I have got that Gravebrand Warlock, and I am very happy about it. Gravebrand Warlock is one of the card that I think an unique one. He is slow but he has a speed buff, so kind of silly actually. However I get an Idea how to utilize him.

Later he will get an execute ability, and it would be lethal because his magic attack is quite good, 3 damage. So he would frequently deliver the killing blow. I think the meta is supposed to be that, let his teammates damage the enemies, then he delivers killing blow.

Let see how he will perform later.

I have many regular foil cards here, but I won't discuss them in detail. Let me be brief about them, because my focus in Splinterlands is playing Braw in Gold Foil frays. I do not want to get excited over regular foil cards.

So here some brief about them, only the upgraded ones.

Goove Doomblade is an excellent one, especially during the reverse speed ruleset. I feel like a have a modern version of Sand Worm

Surgehammer reminds me of Deeplurker, but this one is the weaker version. The good thing is that Surgehammer has flying ability, I feel like the current Conclave Arcana has less flying units.

If Saltwraith Bulkhead doesn't have that weary ability, he would be my main selection for the life element tank. He would be great during super sneak ruleset too.

Recently I am rarely playing with Dragon Element, due to their summoners are expensive to rent. So I have no comments for this Dragonfang Lancer

The last one is one of my wishlist, The Mindless Thrall. I have plenty in mind about having him in my team, about what meta I could build up. Too bad I haven't got the gold foil one.

Ok that's for today post and Thank you for your visit here. See you in Splinterlands Battles!!!

Hi.

Getting a gold leaf is really hard, but when it happens, it's awesome. Leveling up cards lets us access superior skills and stats that will give us the advantage on the battlefield.

Nice post, my friend. 😀
