Prepare for Battle in Splinterlands Tournaments! - Social Media
In Splinterlands Tournaments, you'll be able to compete against some of Praetoria's finest battlemages, battling for fame and fortune. Tournaments come in various formats and can be customized in many ways to offer unique challenges to players of all skill levels.
Tournament Types
Anytime Tournaments: These allow players to send their teams whenever it's convenient for them. They can be one or two rounds, with a percentage of players advancing to the second round based on the tournament's settings.
Single Elimination Tournaments: Live tournaments that are knockout-based. Players must win a set number of battles to advance. Only the strongest will survive!
Sit N Go Tournaments: These can be either Anytime or Single Elimination, starting automatically when the maximum number of players is reached or at a scheduled time.
How to Navigate Tournaments
On the main Tournaments page, you can filter events by type, league, format, prizes, card set, and more. Here you'll find essential information such as the type of tournament, its format, specific rules, prizes, and entry fees.
- Tournament Types: Displays the name, format, and who created it.
- Rules: Details about card level limits, whether it's regular or gold foil, and what card sets are allowed.
- Prizes: Total dollar value of prizes, which can include tokens, packs, land, and more.
- Entry: The entry fee, the number of registered players, and the maximum allowed.
Entry Requirements
Each tournament has entry requirements that may include wagered SPS, minimum collection power, or even ID verification. Make sure you meet these requirements before registering, as failure to maintain them during the tournament could result in your being automatically disqualified.
Tournament Formats
Tournaments can be in either Wild or Modern format:
- Wild: Allows the use of all cards available in Splinterlands.
- Modern: Restricts cards to the last two main sets.
Prizes and Rewards
Prizes can include tokens such as DEC and SPS, distributed automatically at the end of the tournament, as well as cards, booster packs, land, and more. Custom prizes, such as specific cards or non-standard tokens, are distributed manually. If you do not receive a prize, please contact the tournament creator.
