Torch Vizier | SPT W-333 Splinterlands Art Contest, Digital Art

Hello, how are you all hive friends?

Hopefully all hive friends are fine, and always given blessings in this life 😊

This is the 108th post since I joined the weekly art contest held by @Splinterlands. Here I draw the Torch Vizier character from the Splinterlands Torch Vizier card game.

I chose this character because this character is quite challenging to make a fanart illustration, because women are quite difficult for me, female anatomy must be very perfect to look good unlike drawing muscular male characters can be a bit freer in terms of body proportions.

Also another challenge is the long and blazing fire hair that creates a hot effect and the reflection of fire also on the body of this character really makes me think hard too ha.ha..ha

Overal I really enjoyed making this work 😁

For coloring, using the same full-color American comic style with semi-realism colors with vibrant colors.

To create this character, I used Gpen thick and thin line art this time without texture.

This time I didn't have a target because participating in the @splinterlands character drawing competition was already really cool in my opinion, and congratulations to the top 3 winners and other winners 🥰😘🕺👑👏💃🥳

And also thank you to my friends in the Hive community, curators, and other artists who have always supported me in my work so far.

I made this work in 7 hours with 3 hours of line sketching and 4 hours of coloring and effects.

  3. Wacom Cintiq 13Hd.

Steps from sketch to line art using Gpen with slightly changed parameters in Clip Studio Paint:

The coloring process and also the creation of shadows and lighting using Airbrush and watercolor brushes with slightly changed parameters as well as several layer modes from glow dodge, add, overlay to multiply:

Me gustó mucho tu estilo y la forma en que manejas la anatomía. El efecto de fuego en el cabello está genial.

My line work is also far from perfect, and I am not yet happy with the results of my creations. When I finish my illustration work, I feel that there is still a lot that needs to be improved, so sometimes it makes me continue to look for references for comic artists with good lines... Yes, I am very, very proud that someone is a fan of my line art... Thank you🥰🙏☺
