Swamp Thing | SPT W-336 Splinterlands Art Contest, Digital Art
Hello, how are you all hive friends?
Hopefully all hive friends are fine, and always given blessings in this life π
This is the 111th post since I joined the weekly art contest held by @Splinterlands.
Here I draw the Swamp Thing character from the Splinterlands Swamp Thing playing card.
I chose this character because Swamp Thing himself is quite popular as a character in various fictional stories and coincidentally Splinterlands uses this character too, so that made me interested in making it.
I made this fanart character set in the middle of a swamp in the forest, Swamp Thing appears in the darkness of the night under the moonlight and the emergence of a horde of bats creates a dark and horror impression in this depiction.
Hopefully I'm not late for this entry, even though I didn't get a vote from Splinterlands I'm quite happy to participate and draw Splinterlands characters to practice my illustration drawing skills.
But overall it's really fun making Splinterlands fanart this time ππ
For coloring, using the same full-color American comic style with semi-realism colors with vibrant colors.
To create this character, I used Gpen thick and thin line art this time without texture.
This time I don't have a target because participating in the @splinterlands character drawing competition is already really cool in my opinion, and congratulations to the top 3 winners and other winners π₯°ππΊππππ₯³
And also thank you to my friends in the Hive community, curators, and other artists who have always supported me in my work so far.
I made this work in 6 hours with 2.5 hours of line sketching and 3.5 hours of coloring and effects.
