Sea Monster | SPT W-346 | Splinterlands Art Contest, Digital Art
Hello, how are you all hive friends?
Hopefully all hive friends are fine, and always given blessings in this life ๐
This is the 121st post since I joined the weekly art contest held by @Splinterlands.
Here I draw the Sea Monster character from the Splinterlands Sea Monster card game.
I chose this character because the character depicts the legend of sea monsters, such as kraken and locness, So I draw fanart of this character in the sea by coiling in the depths of the sea which makes it very scary for sailors and divers in the ocean.
This character is quite scary with a long dragon shape and a scary face with sharp and large teeth in its mouth.
Drawing this Splinterlands character makes me happy in playing with interesting color combinations from just blue and green and varying them is very exciting.
And I'm quite happy to participate and draw Splinterlands characters to practice my illustration drawing skills.
But overall it's always fun to make Splinterlands fanart, because there are so many characters that can be made into fanart๐๐.
For coloring, using a full-color American comic style with a little semi-realism.
To create this character, I used Gpen thick and thin line art with texture.
This time I don't have a target, because participating in the @splinterlands character drawing competition is already really cool in my opinion. And with the new rules, I also don't seem to be included in the criteria on the leaderboard ha.ha.ha.
And congratulations to the top 3 winners and other winners ๐ฅฐ๐๐บ๐๐๐๐ฅณ
Also thank you to my friends in the Hive community, curators, and other artists who have always supported me in my work so far.
This work took me 6 hours with 2 hours of line sketching and 4 hours of coloring and effects.

Awesome work!
This is one of the reasons why I'm always afraid to go for scuba diving although it's generally safe with an instructor around XD. Only 10% of the ocean is explored so I always wondered about the existence of these kind of creatures under there haha.
Did you saw the news about a demon like fish they found out out recently? It's small but it does look quite scary.
According to scientists, only about less than 10% of the ocean has been explored by humans, so there is still more than 90 percent of the ocean that has not been explored, so it is possible that creatures like this exist but maybe they will not be seen in the ocean because the ocean is so vast and deep that humans themselves are unable to reach it.
Thanks for sharing! - @isaria

Howdy my dear friend. I want you to know that you are one of my favorite artists on Hive. You have not won the Splinterlands contest in a while since they changed the rules. You have a very high KE score... which means you have extracted most of your rewards. I know you live in an area where that money is critical for your survival. I am the judge of the contest and want you to be winning more often but you need to power up more of your rewards to get your KE score lower. The lower your KE score the better.... don't lose heart and know that your lack or winning or features is only due to the rule change. If you begin to power up more and change a bit of your Hive investment strategies... you will be back in the top 10 almost every week. This is one of my favorite cards and you did it the best I've ever seen. Keep up the great art brother!
Thank you my friend for the explanation, yes here in the country it is very difficult to get money, even layoffs are very rampant and food prices are soaring plus the government seems not to care about its people, so I try to survive by working and blogging on the hive network for my life and my family, yes with the existing rules I don't mind as long as there are still those who vote for my work posts on the hive, that is already appreciating and helping my family's economy here.. Thank you my friend for your enthusiasm, when it is stable in my country, I will increase the number of my hives so that I can contribute more to this hive network โบ
