Splinterlands Community Engagement challenge - Survival Ideas

Gud day hivers and to you splinterbuds! Joining this week's Splinterlands Survival Mode Community Engagement Challenge is a bit tough for I am still gathering information and what will be my League Tier capability for this new rank battle. Well i do have some ideas that revolves around my brain and this might hint you something playing the Survival Battle mode specially the new guys. I am new with the Survival mode myself so lets just explore the possible positive things fellas. I hope i can help you some.
How I played the Survival Mode
I tried a few rounds with survival mode and to be honest it is a tough time sending what i have. I decided to play the Mode by placing cards that i am no use or just a little participation in my splinterlands activities which mainly revolves around Rank battle and guild brawls. and the result?

It's 50% win rate. It is also what i expected since i am just using cards that just add to my Collection Power and the Reward cards from the Chaos series mainly. The season still got some time so i might still have the opportunity to attack after the cards cooldown. Its a bit tough since my available cards are not yet maxed and they suffered a long cooldown. Poor me! but anyways, I gain few SPS with the wins so i can say that the Survival mode is a good form of new rank battle and it can entertain well because you can try Modern and old cards fighting in the same arena like Wild but you must just really be careful placing your team for the cooldown is real.
Keeping Your Beloved team of Cards out of Survival Option
As i explore the Survival Mode battle option of the game, it is necessary to keep your Team cards for Modern, Wild and Guild battle off for this said battle option. You see, when you are playing in the Survival mode, you might loose your focus and make some painful mistake that can cost you a lot of days for card cooldown. That is really gonna be a headache if you did that.

Ok i sighted an example above which was encircle in red color and this means these cards are available for survival mode use. The other one which was not highlighted is off for survival mode used. This is really important, to me, because when you are managing lots of cards right now or later, carelessness is inevitable specially when you battle in game that got time pressure. So be sure to segregate cards accordingly.

You can also check card status on the 3rd party market like Peakmonsters for your Survival Mode indicator. The status of my lost cards above means they are still on cooldown and cannot be use on any type of activities in splinterlands at the moment.
No Cards for Survival? Care to Rent?
This should be plan accordingly, you must see to it that what you rent are Survival Mode Cards availability. This should be cards that were listed for rent on a seasonal Basis. Not the daily basis.

Rent per season means that card is available for Survival mode. I don't know the reason so just be careful before you rent your cards for the said Mode.
- So right now, this is all i have for survival mode. Another thing to consider is to time when you are going to play the survival mode to avoid as much as possible the guys that fill the Ranks. Those are genuinely made for this mode and you dont want to play right? you needed to win! So timing is necessary to avoid such catastrophic defeat. Remember, although there are no energy wasted, there are card cooldowns on this mode. Also, It is also possible to gather either rent or own same cards that you believed have high chance of win rate for this mode. You just have to posses money for it.
