Hi there everyone! Hope everything is fine and fun at your end. Another Community Engagement Challenge for our beloved game Splinterlands and as always, oh I had skipped a few months lol, here I am joining again ;P.
So I am moving on without any bull crops so I can share a proper thought regarding Countering the Noxious Fumes when it will appear on your battle rulesets. Yep, I will explain the counter on that nasty Noxious Fumes ruleset. I hope i can share a good thought about it.

How to Defend Against Noxious Fumes

Noxious Fumes:
All Monsters start the battle Poisoned.

So as you can see with the ruleset Noxious Fumes, it is a rule that will get your monster units in the battle field suffer potion damage every start of the round. So how the we counter such ruleset? Simple, just put perfume and proceed to battle. Right? Joking aside, Countering such a ruleset will be a bit tricky. You either place monster units with lots of health with a heal to survive the damage every round, or use cleanse to remove the curse of the fume or just get war freak and place high damage dealers to wipe out all your enemy's monster units before you suffer the death trap of the Noxious Fumes. These are just examples on how you can survive and get a hold of the win from your opponents in the Noxious Fumes Ruleset. In short, there is no guarantee that you can have a sure win when using the cleanse ability to counter the noxious fumes ruleset, you should also consider the other factor like having a high damage team to hasten the ripping of the HP of your opponents team. And you should also know that your opponent thinks also the same thing as you so you must become more shrewd than them.

Cleansing The Noxious Fumes

Cleanse and Cleanse Rearguard:

• Removes all negative effects on the Monster in the first position on the friendly team
• Cleanses the last allied backline unit with a magic debuff.

These are the two type of perfume I mean cleanse that can help you remove the Noxious Fumes Debuff so it will not effect your monster in front or back (based on what you prefer using between the two type of cleanse) while battling your opponents team.

An Example Battle

Choosing the Life Splinters here as part of my battle team wherein I can use Elias Max Pruitt as my summoner. The said summoner possess the ability of Cleanse that you can assign to your monster unit for use. I am taking advantage this ability of Max because I am fighting in a high level mana battle. I summoned Mantaroth on the frontmost of my team to one reason is it got a huge chunk of life and perfect tank of my team. Marisol Contuna with Reach ability and next is Venka the Vile. Completing my team will be Olivia of the Brook, Mindless Thrall and Pixie-Knife Hurler. What my team built in here is as much as possible will act fast to eliminate the opposition team so they posses high damage, HP at medium built at least and the swiftness ability. So we will check on opponents team which come from the Earth splinters. Summoned by Lobb Lowland and I see Quora Towershead on the opposition. Although my opponent did not chose to use the skill cleanse, it got heal and mostly tanky units. I wonder how did the battle ended up.

It ended on my favor and i grab the win with this fight. As you can see, my monster units also got their HP almost on the verge of collapse because of the Noxious Fumes. Luckily, Olivia the Brook copied the self heal skill which help it to stay on the field longer and caused a good amount of damage to the opponents team. So the composition of my team is a good choice for this round of battle.

• On every rulesets, there are counters. But take note that it is not a good thing to think that you can outperform your opponent's team just placing the counter of rulesets. You also need to add other abilities and the either offense, defense or support of every units that you will summon on the battlefield to let your chances grow for the win. Remember, Splinterlands reward your glory on every battle you won. Don't let it slip! Game on! :)
