Shock Trooper Decorative Pendant Quilling Technique [Eng-Esp]

Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.

Today I'm joining the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!. I bring you a new work of art. I wanted to make a decorative pendant inspired by an element of the card, Shock Trooper, using the quilling technique. I was very struck by the spear-shaped weapon of war that the character holds in his hands, so I decided to bring it to life for all of you.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.

Para hoy me uno al Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!. les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, quise realizar un Colgante decorativo inspirado en un elemento de la carta, Shock Trooper en la técnica de quilling, me llamo mucho la atención el arma de guerra en forma de lanza que posee el personaje en sus manos, y por eso decidí materializarlo para todos ustedes.

Esperando les guste mi trabajo, sin más preámbulos, les dejo mi proceso creativo.

To do this project, I bought some light and dark gray cardstock, which I cut into strips using a paper cutter to the right width and length for this little craft.

• I started by taking a 3mm wide strip of light gray cardstock and a mandrel to mold circles. I made a ring by rolling a piece of cardstock from top to bottom, then rolled the entire strip until I reached the end, sealed it with extra-strong white glue, and removed it from the mandrel. We will need two identical ring-shaped circles like this one.

• I proceeded to mold the circles as you can see in the image into a kind of triangle shape.

• I took a piece of thick light gray cardstock and rolled it around a high-cut quilling needle to form a long cardboard stick, which will be the shaft of the spear.

• I glued the shapes I had previously molded to the top of the stick and let them dry thoroughly. This will be the tip of the spear.

Para realizar este trabajo procedí a comprar cartulinas de color gris claro y oscuro, de las cuales corte cintas en una guillotina de las medidas de ancho y largo adecuadas para ejecutar este pequeño fantart.

• Comencé tomando cinta de color gris claro de 3mm de ancho y un mandril para moldear círculos, realicé un aro enrollando un trozo de cinta en la segunda medida de arriba hacia abajo, procedí a enrollar toda la cinta hasta llegar al final de la misma, sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte y saqué de mandril. Necesitaremos 2 círculos tipo aro como este totalmente iguales.

• Procedí a moldear los círculos tal y como pueden ver en la imagen como una especie de triángulos.

• Tomé un trozo de cartulina gruesa de color gris claro, enrolle en una aguja para quilling de corte alto, para formar un palillo largo de cartulina, esta será el asta de la lanza.

• Las figuras que moldee con anterioridad las pegué en la parte de arriba del palillo, deje secar muy bien. Esta será la punta de la lanza.

• I took a piece of dark gray tape 2 mm wide, wrapped it around the stick, and sealed it with extra-strong white glue. Now the spear is ready.

• I applied a few touches of pearl-colored paint to some parts of the spear and let it dry.

• I placed a jewelry ring at the top of the spear between the two openings you can see, applied extra-strong white glue, and pressed until it stuck well.

• To finish, I attached the spear to a silver chain pendant.

• And now we have finished this decorative pendant, inspired by the weapon of war carried by the character in the card “Shock Trooper”.

• Tomé un trozo de cinta de color gris oscuro de 2mm de ancho, está la enrollé en el palillo, sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte. De esta manera está lista la lanza.

• Apliqué algunos toques de pintura color perlada en algunos puntos de la lanza, deje secar.

• Coloque una argolla de bisutería en la parte de arriba de la lanza entre las dos aberturas que pueden observar, apliqué pega blanca extra fuerte e hice presión hasta que pegó muy bien.

• Para finalizar enganche la lanza, de un colgante de cadena plateada.

• De esta manera tenemos listo este colgante decorativo que elabore, inspirado en el arma de guerra que lleva en sus manos el personaje de la carta "Shock Trooper".
