Lady Amara II Decorative Pendant Quilling Technique [Eng-Esp]

Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.

Today I'm joining the Splinterlands Art Contest. I bring you a new work of art. Last week, I worked with the same card I used to make a pendant with beautiful flowers and leaves found on it. Today, I wanted to make a decorative pendant inspired by another shield-shaped element that is part of the costume of the character Lady Amara using the quilling technique.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.

Para hoy me uno al Splinterlands Art Contest. les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, la semana pasada trabaje con la misma carta con la cual realice un colagante de unas bonitas flores y hojas que se encuentran como elementos de la misma, para hoy quise realizar un colgante decorativo inspirado en otro elemento en forma escudo que es parte de la vestimenta del personaje Lady Amara en la técnica de quilling.

• I started by taking a piece of brown cardboard, applying glue to it, and folding it several times until I had a thick piece. I let it dry thoroughly.

• I sketched the coat of arms on a white sheet of paper with a pencil and cut it out on the thick base I had made earlier.

• I glued a border to the leftover pieces at the top and in the middle and cut off the excess.

• I added some details with black cold paint.

• Comencé tomando un trozo de cartulina marrón, le apliqué pega y le fui haciendo varios dobleces hasta conseguí una pieza gruesa, deje secar muy bien.

• Con un lápiz realicé un boceto del escudo en una hoja blanca, lo recorte en la base gruesa que realicé con anterioridad.

• De los pedazos sobrantes en la parte de arriba y en el medio pegué un borde, recorte los excedentes.

• Con pintura al frío color negra, realicé algunos detalles.

• I took a 2mm wide white ribbon and, using the needle, rolled it up until I reached the end of the ribbon. I removed it, loosened it a little, and sealed it with extra-strong white glue to make a small open circle, which I shaped into a diamond.

• I took white tape and made small folds, sticking them together with white glue. I took two and stuck them to the bottom of the sides of the diamond I had made to form the piece you can see in the image.

• I proceeded to stick the diamond in the center of the shield and the other two white pieces on the sides.

• Tomé cinta de color blanca de 2mm de ancho, con la aguja procedí a enrollar hasta llegar al final de la cinta, saqué de la misma, solté un poco y sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte para conseguir un pequeño círculo abierto, este lo moldee en forma de rombo.

• Tomé cinta blanca y realicé pequeños dobleces pegando con cola blanca, tomé dos y los pegué en la parte de abajo a los lados del rombo que realicé, para formar la pieza que pueden ver en la imagen.

• Procedí a pegar el rombo en el centro del escudo, y las otras dos piezas blancas a los lados.

• I took gold metallic paint, painted the diamond in the center and the two pieces on the sides, and added other details to the shield. Then, using pearl paint, I added some other details and finished with black paint, which I used to go over the lines I had drawn at the beginning.

• I took a jewelry pin and a ring, put extra-strong white glue on the tip of the pin, stuck it on the top of the shield, and let it dry thoroughly.

• To protect the work, I applied a coat of extra-strong white glue and let it dry thoroughly to give it hardness, plasticity, and some shine.

• I decorated it by placing some jewelry crystals on various parts of the shield.

• To finish, I attached the pendant of my choice.

• And now we have finished this decorative pendant that I made, inspired by elements of the character from the card “Lady Amara”.

• Tomé pintura metalizada color oro, pinte el rombo del centro las dos piezas de los lados e hice otros detalles en el escudo. Luego con pintura perlada realicé algunos otros detalles, finalice con pintura color negro con la cual repase las líneas que había hecho en un principio.

• Tomé un alfiler de bisuteria y una argolla, en la punta del alfiler coloqué pega blanca extra fuerte, clave en la parte de arriba del escucho y deje secar muy bien.

• Para proteger el trabajo apliqué una capa de pega blanca extra fuerte dejando secar muy bien, esto para darle dureza, plasticidad y algo de brillo.

• Decore colocando algunos cristales de bisutería, en diversas partes del escudo.

• Para finalizar coloque el colgante de mi preferencia.

• De esta manera tenemos listo este colgante decorativo en que elabore, inspirado en elementos del personaje de la carta "Lady Amara ".
