My Shocking September and My Hive PowerUp Day

My September

Greetings, Fellow Hivers! I hope you and your family are doing well!

Today, I want to share some reflections on my September . The month went by quickly and ended with a shock. I’m excited to tell you all about what made this past month so eventful.

Birthday and Beyond

On her birthday, I took a moment to visit Nanay Baby’s resting place at the cemetery. It was a heartfelt visit that allowed me to reflect on her life, the memories we shared, and the love that continues to live on beyond her passing. This visit was a way to honor her memory and feel close to her even though she’s no longer physically here.

The Mischievous Cat

I need to be more careful with my food from now on because a stray cat managed to steal my lunch earlier. It was an unexpected little thief, and now I realize I must keep my meals in a safer place to avoid any future surprises.

That cat came back again. Unfortunately, it caused some damage by breaking a few pieces of furniture, but what hurt me the most was that those were treasured memories of my mother. Seeing those reminders of her damaged felt like a deep ache in my heart, as if part of her presence was disrupted. It was a painful reminder of how much those keepsakes meant to me and how precious they were in preserving her legacy.

Nature's Bounty

In one weekend, I harvested a big banana blossom from my garden. It felt nice to harvest something special and reminded me how rewarding it is to care for plants and enjoy their fruits.

Splinterlands

I also played regularly in Splinterlands using the modern format. After many tries and some disappointing losses, I finally reached the Silver League, which is the highest level I achieved this month. It was a satisfying accomplishment that showed my progress and determination in the game.

Actifit Draw

I usually don’t have much luck in raffles and lotteries, so winning isn’t something I expect often. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I won in the latest @Actifit Prize Draw. This was definitely one of the happiest moments I’ve experienced on the Hive blockchain. It gives me hope that my luck might be turning around, and I’m excited to see if I can win even more in the future.

HivePOSH

Aside from playing Splinterlands and participating in Actifit, I also regularly take part in @hive-echo’s Call to Action. This initiative encourages us to share and promote the Hive blockchain in the Web2 world, helping to raise awareness and grow our community beyond the Hive ecosystem. It’s a meaningful way for me to contribute and stay engaged with Hive’s expansion.

September Ends with a Shake and a Shock

I was resting on my bed when suddenly the dogs started barking loudly, and I felt the ground begin to shake. The tremor was strong and lasted longer than I expected, leaving me shaken and restless. Since then, I’ve found it difficult to fall back asleep. My thoughts are with everyone affected.

I learned later that it's a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.9 and caused severe shaking, damaging many buildings and resulting in around 69 deaths and over 140 injuries.

My heartfelt condolences to all who lost loved ones, homes and livelihood in the earthquake.

My Hive Power Up Day

After a month of consistent participation in Actifit, Splinterlands, Hive curation, and Hive sharing, my efforts have finally paid off. I was able to accumulate enough Hive tokens to qualify for the Hive Power Up Day. I used Hive @keychain for this HPUD. It's the Swiss Knife of the Hive blockchain.
