I love when surprises like this happen in @splinterlands and honestly, no one expected such a generous gesture from the team. Yesterday, they practically gifted us brand new cards, and the best part is that they’re fully functional and usable across different game modes.

It’s still early to say which ones are the best, but in this post, I’ll share my thoughts and impressions about this magical update. So, let’s begin:

💎NEW PLAYERS WILL APPRECIATE IT EVEN MORE

If you're new to the game, this mini card set will be super helpful. It includes summoners and cards for all classes, opening up a new world of possibilities when facing battles.
I'm not saying you shouldn't get Rebellion or Conclave Arcana cards, but now you have new options to choose from on the battlefield while you save up for the ones you're missing or want to own.

I think this new pool of cards has a lot of variety, and I’m sure it will inspire new strategies in the future.

IT TEACHES YOU HOW TO PLAY
This part was amazing. To get these new cards, you need to go through an adventure mode, which gradually teaches you the basic concepts of the game.
I loved this part because you learn the fundamentals while being rewarded along the way, plus you get a bit of lore too.

This dopamine based system is really interesting: as you complete the adventure, you earn good cards that are actually useful (not all of them, but most).
And even better, it looks like more adventures will be released in the coming months.

This first adventure has 11 chapters, each focused on a specific combat style and gameplay concept. Here's a quick breakdown of how they’re divided.

It's really impressive how they built this first "book": it’s super engaging, beautifully illustrated, and pulls you into this card based universe.

💎FUN FACTS

These new cards belong to the Foundation set, and there’s a good chance more will come that we’ll be able to trade on the market (just a theory).
Also, using these cards in battles doesn’t reduce your SPS or Glint rewards something I really appreciate.

In total, there are 5 summoners (or Archons, if you prefer) and 33 cards/units, spread across all factions or classes.

Another curious detail: each card belongs to a specific Bloodline, meaning they have synergies depending on their lineage.

Overall, I’m really enjoying how Splinterlands is evolving in 2025. You can tell the team is working hard to bring new features and make the project feel more modern and appealing to both new and veteran players.

If we compare today’s game to what Splinterlands was years ago, it’s clear that a lot has changed. I’d even say that 2025 shows the most development yet especially in visual design, gameplay (though the economic side still needs improvement), and marketing efforts.

Saludos humanos gamers como van...

Me encanta que pasen este tipo de sorpresas en @splinterlands y es que realidad no contábamos con este gran detalle de parte del equipo, ya que nos regalaron prácticamente nuevas cartas el día de ayer y lo mejor es que son cartas funcionales que podemos usar en los distintos modos del juego del proyecto.

Aun es temprano para decir cuales son las mejores , pero en este post te daré mi punto y apreciación frente a este nuevo update que apareció por arte de magia. Dicho esto comencemos:

LOS NUEVOS LO APRECIARAN MAS
Si llevas poco en el juego este nuevo mini set de cartas te va ayudar mucho ya que trae invocadores y cartas para todas las clases, lo que nos abre un nuevo mundo de posibilidades frente a como afrontar las batallas.
No estoy diciendo que no adquieras cartas de Rebellion y Conclave Arcana sino que ya tienes nuevas opciones para escoger en el campo de batalla mientras ahorras para comprar las que te faltan o quisieras tener.
Considero que este nuevo pool de cartas tiene mucha variedad y se que se forjaran nuevas estrategias a futuro gracias a ellas.

TE ENSEÑAN A JUGAR
Esta parte me encanto ya que para poder adquirir dichas cartas donde tenes que jugar una especie de aventura con la cual poco a poco te irán enseñando los conceptos básicos del juego. Ame esta parte ya que aprendes la base del juego y te van recompensando poco a poco aparte de que te cuenta un poco de su historia. Este sistema de dopamina es bien interesante ya que cuando terminas esta aventura te haces con buenas cartas que te van a servir ( no todas pero la mayoría ). Ademas de que dan a entender que sacaran nuevas aventuras a lo largo de los meses.

Esta fase de esta aventura tiene 11 capitulos donde cada uno se centra en un estilo de combate del juego como también sus conceptos. Aquí te muestro como están divididas.
Es bien interesante como crearon este primer libro ya que es muy animado y tiene un arte bien bonita que te sumerge en todo este mundo de cartas.

CURIOSIDADES
Estas cartas pertenecen a la foundation y si miramos en el mercado posiblemente lleguen mas que podremos comerciar ( es solo una teoría ), ademas si usamos estas cartas en batalla no se reducirá nuestras ganancias en ellas de sps y glint, cosa que agradezco.
En total son 5 invocadores o Archon como tu les quiera decir y 33 cartas o unidades divididas en todas las facciones o clases.

Algo también curioso es que estas cartas pertenecen cada una a un bloodline con lo que tienen sinergias según la rama a la que estén unida.

En general me gusta como están llevando el juego de splinterlands este 2025 , se nota que el equipo esta haciendo nuevas cosas y trabajando en el proyecto para que se sienta cada vez mas moderno, atractivo para los nuevos, viejos y usuarios que tiene en el proyecto. Ya que si comparamos el juego con lo que era splinterlands hace algunos años ha cambiado mucho aunque reafirmo que este 2025 es donde mas he visto desarrollo por parte del equipo en la parte visual, gaming ( bueno falta mejorar la parte económica ) y de mercadeo.

En conclusion esto te espera como jugador:
