Weekly Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Legends in the Making.

It is a pleasure to write again and share content about Splinterlands with my favorite communities. It is worth mentioning that I have been very busy for work reasons, and I have not been able to have so much activity. I am also aware of the current rules, even so I like and enjoy writing about this wonderful project.

I consider that starting splinterlands was quite exciting, besides a learning process, since I thought it was similar to the typical NFT or play2earn games, but I was wrong. The Splinterlands/Hive community is different, since there are always users willing to collaborate, advise, and be loyal to the community.

The mistakes I made and some recommendations.

At the beginning I made some mistakes, which I have told you about on several occasions. The first was to buy cards above their value; I invested about $50. It is likely that if I had more knowledge about Splinterlands, I could have obtained more and better cards for the same investment. I also burned some cards by mistake, but the hardest thing was to adapt or try to understand the gameplay.

Even though I read a lot about the elements, powers, and characteristics before starting, I still found it hard to see what was the best way to improve my performance during battles. From my point of view, the best method to improve is experimental using different types of cards and following tips or recommendations of more experienced users.

Some goals achieved and to be achieved.

My best achievements were to reach high-level leagues, besides starting to get rewards in tournaments; specifically, in the wild league I could reach high leagues; even in the modern league I have remained in the golden league, so I have that goal pending. A personal achievement was to be part of a clan and grow my deck of cards. Today, with several editions of card rewards and other purchases, I have managed to increase the quality of my deck and the level of each card. Also, as a group goal, I hope that in the Fallen Angels clan we can grow in all categories and achieve a great performance week by week.

My future goals are to win a tournament, also to be among the leaders of the ranking, and to improve in many ways. What makes me most happy is to be able to improve the quality of my deck of cards. Just in two years, I have managed to get a number of cards that were unthinkable before. That's why I still consider that getting cards and leveling them up is a very satisfying task that brings great benefits in the future and improves our performance.

My experience and tips to start properly in Splinterlands.

As I mentioned before, the best method to learn and develop better is to practice, so we will find our own style of play or favorite cards that inspire confidence. Also, if it is within your reach, you can make a small investment to get cards that are not available today or that are part of the promotions. Perseverance and practice are the keys to achieving the goals we set in Splinterlands.
