Rising Star - New Unique Instrument - Otamatone

When I purchased this card - i136 Otamatone, I thought it was just a made up instrument and it could not possibly be real. Especially since the quote stated "Pacman meets robotics". How could an instrument that looked like that actually be real.

So of course, I looked it up on the internet and found lots of posts with photos and descriptions of the instrument and also several of sites where you could purchase it.

The Otamatone is an electronic musical synthesizer developed in Japan. I guess next time I should just assume any of the instruments on the cards are real until proved otherwise.

Rising Star Progress

I added another level this week. I am now at level 107. One level at a time to get closer to unlocking the next mission when I reach level 125.

I lost a lot of ground on My ranking this week dropping to 572 from 520 last week. My total score actually increased to 5891 this week from 5879 last week. I increased the number of Unique and total cards but my weekly minutes fell a bit for the week over week from 5180 to 4485 this week. I did not add any IM to my stats this week.

Other players had a higher score so I dropped in the rankings. This just makes me more focused to maintain the ranking that I had achieved and then some. I guess I need to focus on my Total IM. It appears most of the other players around my same rank have many more IM than I do.

For the fourth week in a row, my ego stayed at zero %. This is a very good indicator that I am able to manage my ego no matter what and should not focus on it as much as I have in the past.

Unique Cards

This week I added another 11 new unique common cards (4 People, 7 Instruments) for 8506 Starbits. This added a total of 35 Fans, 28 Luck and 17 Skill to my stats. Most of these were the new cards that were issued for the month of March. I always try to get all the new common cards that are issued each month.

I also wanted to add to my rare cards and increase my IM so I purchased R298 Jasper for 6859 Starbits. I am hoping this helps maintain my current ranking or push it up a little.
