The Northman Review – A Brutal Vision of Vengeance and Violence
In recent years, Robert Eggers has become one of the most sought-after directors in Hollywood. His debut film, The Witch, was a critical and commercial success, and his follow-up, The Lighthouse, cemented his reputation as a master of atmospheric horror.
Now, with his latest film, The Northman, Eggers has made the jump to big-budget blockbusters. The film, which stars Nicole Kidman and Robert Pattinson, cost a reported 90 million dollars to make. And based on early reviews, it looks like Eggers has once again delivered a masterful piece of cinema.
The North Man is a gripping tale of revenge and redemption set in the frozen tundra of the Arctic. The story follows a young man named Amleth, who sets out to avenge his father's death at the hands of the ruthless chieftain, Ragnar. Along the way, Sigurd must battle not only the elements, but also his own doubts and fears. Alexander Skarsgård plays Amleth, who as a boy witnessed the murder of his father King Aurvandil, played by Ethan Hawke. After his mother inflames the court against him, Amleth goes into hiding. Disguised as a jester, he inexorably exacts his savage revenge.
The Northman gets his revenge by seeking out and destroying the people who killed his family. He sets out on a quest to find and kill the people who took his family from him, and he will stop at nothing to see them brought to justice. The Northman is a skilled warrior and hunter, and he will use all of his skills to track down and kill his enemies. This is a story of revenge, and it is one that you will not want to miss.
The North Man is an excellent film that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. The acting is top-notch, the scenery is beautiful, and the story is both heart-wrenching and inspirational. If you're looking for a great film to watch, be sure to check out The North Man.

After the Vikings series, I started loving this type of work more.
I have watched this one too and it was a good one, I still remember the lines, "I will avenge you, father. I will save you, mother. I will kill you, Fjölnir."
Awesome, that's correct 💯
