Social Media Challenge: Crystal Werewolf [EN - ESP]
Dear friends of Hive in general and the Splinterlands universe in particular. Here we are again with my famous analyses for the Social Media Challenge. This week's Wednesday analysis comes with a card that I am particularly excited to analyse. It is a card from a roster that I have not evolved, that I use very occasionally and that, moreover, I have not upgraded, so I am going to show it to you at its most basic level. In addition, the analysis comes with a victory in which its special ability will be decisive given the battle conditions that will be present. So, let's get on with the analysis. First, a little bit of lore, then its basic statistics and special abilities, followed by the example battle and, as always, the conclusions and final assessment of the analysis. Let's get started.

Esta semana el análisis de cada miércoles viene con una carta que me hace especial ilusión analizar. Y es que es una carta de un roster que no tengo evolucionado, que uso muy de vez en cuando y que, además, no tengo mejorada y te la voy a enseñar en su nivel más básico. Además, el análisis viene con una victoria en la que su habilidad especial va a ser determinante dadas la condiciones de batalla que van a estar presentes. Así que, venga, vamos con el análisis. Primero un poquito de lore, luego sus estadísticas básicas y habilidades especiales para continuar con la batalla de ejemplo y acabar, como siempre, con las conclusiones y valoración final del análisis. This week we're moving on to the life deck and a rare card that came out in an edition a few years ago. In other words, the analysis comes with a very veteran card in the game but, as you will see, it has not lost its playability and is still useful in certain conditions. One of Crystal Werewolf's special abilities makes it an interesting counter to opponents who base their offence on magical attacks. This rare wolf was tragically discovered by the Order of Silver Shield while they were hunting on a cold, full moon night. The unit was brutally slaughtered. There were no survivors, only mutilated remains scattered everywhere of what was once a powerful hunting party.
Esta semana nos pasamos al mazo de vida y a una carta de rareza rara y que salió en una edición hace algunos años ya. Es decir, el análisis viene con una carta muy veterana en el juego pero que, como vas a poder comprobar, no ha perdido su jugabilidad y sigue siendo útil en determinadas condiciones. Y es que una de las habilidades especiales que posee hacen de Crystal Werewolf una contrapartida interesante para aquellos rivales que basen su ofensiva en el ataque mágico. Esta rara de lobos fue descubierta, tragicamente, por la Order of Silver Shield cuando estaban de caceria una gélida noche de luna llena. La unidad fue brutalmente masacrada. No hubo supervivientes, solo restos mutiladas por doquier de lo que una vez fue una poderosa partida de caza.
Crystal Werewolf is a rare card from the deck of, paradoxically, life. Its basic abilities at level 1, which is the copy I will use in the example battle, are 1 point of melee attack, 5 points of vitality, and 2 points of speed. These numbers increase with its eight-level evolution, adding one point to melee attack, three points to vitality, and two additional points to speed. As for its special abilities, it will have two throughout its evolution: Silence at its initial level and Thorns from level 5 onwards. That said, Silence is what makes Crystal Werewolf a really interesting card and the reason why I am including it in this week's battle to minimise the effect of one of the three battle conditions that will be present. Let's take a look at it below.
Crystal Werewolf es una carta rara del mazo de, paradojicamente, vida. Sus habilidades básicas a nivel 1, que es la copia que voy a usar en la batalla de ejemplo, cuenta con 1 punto de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, 5 puntos de vitalidad y dos de velocidad. Estos números aumentan con su evolución de ocho niveles y lo harán en un punto el ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, tres puntos la vitalidad y otros dos puntos adicionales la velocidad. En cuanto a sus habilidades especiales va a tener dos a lo largo de su evolución: Silence ya en su nivel inicial y Thorns a partir del nivel 5 de evolución. Eso si, Silence es lo que convierte a Crystal Werewolf en una carta realmente interesante y el motivo por el que la incluyo en la batalla que te muestro esta semana para minimizar el efecto de una de las tres condiciones de batalla que estarán presentes. It's time for the battle where you'll be able to see Crystal Werewolf's strategy and gameplay. The opponent will be @klbcolt-gmail, who will use a death deck to face my life deck. Battle with 52 mana points available, using cards from the fire, life and death decks. The battle conditions will be Deflection Field, Are You Not Entertained? and, finally, Target Practice. It is precisely this last condition, which gives Snipe to cards with magical and ranged attacks, that is the reason why Crystal Werewolf's Silence ability will have a decisive impact.

Batalla con 52 puntos de maná disponible pudiendo hacer uso de cartas de los mazos de fuego, vida y muerte. Las condiciones de batalla presentes van a ser Deflection Field, are you not entertained? y, por último, target practice. Precisamente esta última condición, que aporta Snipe a las cartas con ataque mágico y a distancia, es el motivo por que el la habilidad Silence de Crystal Werewolf va a tener un peso determinante.

On this occasion, its presence responds to a specific battle condition that gives more power to magical attacks. His Silence ability, which reduces the attack of these cards, has been decisive in partially offsetting the benefits of that battle condition and reducing the damage that rival cards with magical attacks could have caused to my ranks. This type of attack, which bypasses shield points, is really dangerous and it is always advisable to keep it under control and minimise it as much as possible. And that's it for this week's analysis.
