Social Media Challenge: Carnage Titan [EN - ESP]
Dear friends of the Splinterlands universe, welcome to this humble corner dedicated to this magnificent game. As we do every week, we are going to fulfil the Social Media Challenge with a new detailed analysis of one of the cards in the game. This week, the focus will be somewhat different, as I have already analysed most of my current roster. The change is that the card analysed will not be one from my deck but one from my opponent's deck, and I will try to understand their game and the reasons my opponent has used to play their line-up and the role of the card analysed within their strategy. I hope you enjoy this slight twist on this week's analysis and like the experiment. Without further ado, let's get into the details of this week's card analysis. Let's do this.

Como cada semana, vamos a cumplir con el Social Media Challenge con un nuevo análisis en detalle de una de las cartas del juego. Esta semana el enfoque va a ser algo diferente y es que he analizado ya a gran parte de mi roster actual. El cambio radica en que la carta analizada no va a ser una de mi mazo sino una del mazo rival y voy a intentar entender su juego y las razones que ha utilizado mi rival para poner en juego su alineación y el rol de la carta analizada dentro de su estrategia. Today I present one of the cards that, in my opinion, is the most devastating and difficult to counter in the Splinterlands universe. I am talking about none other than Carnage Titan, a card from the dragon deck with tremendous offensive power thanks to its special abilities. Also known in the game's lore as Holicrai the Magnificent, it is an artificial creation of Morloth who, after hard work, discovered that it had come to life and disappeared to become a legend. One of the most fearsome creatures in Dragon's Roost, the people and inhabitants of Draykh-Nakho compose songs and legends about a creature that, obviously, songs that fall short and do not do justice to its incredible power, myth and legend about its abilities and battles.

Unfortunately, Carnage Titan is not part of my roster yet, so I've had to suffer it on the battlefield to experience its sublime power first-hand. It is a legendary creature from the dragon deck that has, at its base, two melee attack points, three speed points, seven shield points, and no less than eight vitality points. These values will only increase by two points in melee attack as it evolves from level one to four. As for its special abilities, it already contributes Reach and Double Strike at its first level, so it can do four points of damage while standing behind the tank we use. It will only gain one more special ability, Shield, at level three, so we can say that it is a card that does not improve disproportionately as it levels up. It is very useful at level one, as it is very close to its maximum potential even at its lowest level.
Por desgracia, Carnage Titan no forma parte de mi roster, aún, por lo que he tenido que sufrirlo en el campo de batalla para poder conocer de primera mano su excelso poder. Es una criatura legendaria del mazo dragón que cuenta, de base, con dos puntos de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, tres puntos de velocidad, siete de escudo y nada menos que ocho de vitalidad. I imagine that after seeing this spectacular battle, you are just as impressed as I am. It is true that it is a veteran card in the game and I have faced it on occasion, but that does not change the fact that it is one of those cards that you hope never to encounter again in combat. Its two special abilities, Reach and Double Strike, make it a fearsome card that can cause up to four points of damage in the first round and leave your tank on the verge of being eliminated from combat in the first turn. If, in addition, you accompany Carnage Titan with more cards that can attack from the second line, the fact that your tank makes it to the second round would be an absolute miracle. And you know, in battles with a lot of mana, the moment your tank falls, if your opponent has not been eliminated, is the first sign that your strategy is not good and you are going to suffer a painful defeat. Supongo, tras ver esta espectacular batalla, que te has quedado igual de impactado que yo. Es cierto que es una carta veterana en el juego y ya me he enfrentado a ella en alguna ocasión lo cual no quita para que sea una de esas cartas que esperas no encontrarte nunca más en un combate. Y es que sus dos habilidades especiales, Reach y Double Strike, la convierten en una carta temible y que ya en el primer asalto te puede causar hasta cuatro puntos de daño y dejar a tu tanque al borde de ser eliminado del combate ya en el primer turno. Si, además, acompañas a Carnage Titan de más cartas que puedan atacar desde segunda línea el hecho de que tu tanque llegue a la segunda ronda sería un absoluto milagro. Y ya sabes, en combates con mucho maná el momento en el que cae tu tanque, si el rival no ha sido eliminado, es el primer síntoma para descubrir que tu estrategia no es buena y vas a sufrir una dolorosa derrota.
