CHALLENGE RULES

RULESET: Little League

Description:

Little League.png

Only units and summoners with a mana cost of 4 or less may be used.

  • Monsters and summoners of 4 Mana or less will be the only ones available in this ruleset.
  • Try increasing your defense by using summoners that give +1 armor or +1 health.
  • Use monsters with at least 2 magic damage and 2 ranged damage.
  • Monsters with abilities that increase health is a good way to increase your win chances.

Stacking health of the damage you are dealing turns low health monsters into great backup tanks.

Shield reduces the damage from melee or ranged attacks while the Void reduces the damage from the magic attacks. Since the damage from minions will be low this could have a great impact on your opponents damage output.

protect.pngvoid armor.pngProtect/Void armor
Having high armor will help you absorb some damage. Similarly for magic, you can use Void Armor ability to protect against magic. Protect ability can give you two additional armor while the Repair ability will help you regain your damaged armor.

Nerfs

Taking health away from your opponents already low health monsters can be very effective.

headwinds.pngdemoralize.pngsilence.pngHeadwinds/Demoralize/Silence
You can still survive longer if you can reduce the damage from the opponent's attack. Abilities like Demoralize, Headwinds, or Silence reduces the melee, ranged, and magic damage respectively will help you achieve this strategy this will be an ideal way to hurt their damage output.

KelyaHaving speed as mentioned above is great but the added armor here has many benefits.

Without further delay lets dig into a battle to see some of our recommendations in action.

Battle

My opponent and me both went with the Obsidian summoner here.
I went with with a good mix of damage melee + range + magic avoid being countered.
My play is with the scavenger late battle secondary tanks in the form of Iza and Blight.
Very hard to get get through with only little league monsters.
