Discover the Halloween Event in Splinterlands

In this post, I'll talk about the Halloween event in Splinterlands. It's my favorite time of year, so I can't miss it, and my goal will be to get all the Halloween skins that were recently added to the game.

Arcade Colony

Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Playstore, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 games.

Let's get to the focus of this post, which is the Halloween event in Splinterlands.

Halloween Event in Splinterlands

This is a simple event, but it's a great way to celebrate this spooky time of year in Splinterlands. Basically, in this event, you'll be able to buy and earn Skins, giving your monsters a spooky charm during battle.

There are two types of Skins in this event: the Skins you can buy at GWEN'S GLINT SHOP using Glint and the Skins you can get from Ultimate Chests.

The Glint Shop of Horrors

In the Glint Shop, you can get 13 different Skins for Glint, and they will be available until November 4th. After that, you won't be able to buy these Skins anymore.

You can buy as many Skins as you want, there's no limit.

Ultimate Chests: A Hunt for the Haunted

In Ultimate Chests, you'll be able to get Skins. The drop rate is 3%, and there are only 720 Skins in total available, so don't waste time and hurry to get them before it's too late.

For those who are curious, the cards that will receive the Skins are:

It's unlikely I'll get all the Skins, but I'll try to get as many as I can before they run out.

Remember that there are only 720 Skins available in the Ultimate Chests in total, so once these 720 Skins are found in the Ultimate Chests, players won't be able to get any more Skins from the Ultimate Chests.

While writing this post, I realized I have 10,450 Glint in my account, so I decided to buy the Halfling Refugee Skin.

The Halfling Refugee Skin costs 8,000 Glint and, in my opinion, is my favorite of the 13 Skins in the Glint Shop. The Halfling Refugee is one of the cards I use most frequently in ranked battles, so this is one of the Skins I'll use a lot.

Hallow's Fall

During Hallow's Fall, the rifts between the Splinterlands and the lower planes are believed to be at their weakest. For the virtuous, it's a celebration to hold back the darkness. For others, it's a celebration of its proximity.

During Halloween, the Blood Moon battle rule was added.

Blood Moon - Units gain Bloodlust at the start of battle.

Halloween started on October 14th in Splinterlands and runs until November 4th. I hope you enjoy this event and earn lots of skins. See you on the battlefield.
