Discover Survival Mode, the Most Profitable Ranked Format

Today I'm going to talk about Survival Mode in Splinterlands. This is currently the ranked battle option that gives the most SPS per victory, but unfortunately, it has a major drawback: it makes cards unusable for a certain period of time after being defeated in battle.
To start, I'll show you how to find Survival Mode in the game. You just need to log in to Splinterlands, click Play, and then Ranked.

After that, you'll be directed to the ranked battle page, where there are three options: Modern, Wild, and Survival.
The option you'll choose is Survival, and that's what I'll talk about in this post.

To start a battle, just click Battle and wait for another player. After that, you choose your cards, just like in Modern and Wild modes.
- Another advantage of playing Survival Mode is that you don't need to purchase the battle pass, so it's less expensive and more profitable.
If you're curious about your SPS earnings in Survival Mode, I'll show you how to find out the average amount you'd earn in each league in this mode.
I'll use other players and their battle earnings as an example.

To find out other players' earnings in Survival Mode, just go to the Season Activity tab shown in the previous image. After that, you'll be directed to a page with three options: Match History, Leaderboard, and Top Battles.
In Match History, you'll find your battle history and that of other players; just enter the player's name.
In Leaderboard, you'll find the top players in each league.
In Top Battles, you'll find the most recent battles of the top players in each league.
To find out the average amount you'd earn in Survival Mode, you can use the Leaderboard or Top Battles options. I like going to Leaderboard because I can search for players with different ratings and get a better idea of my earnings.

There are 5 leagues in Splinterlands: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Champion. You select the league you want and calculate how much you would earn on average in each one.
This post is getting a bit long, and I still have a lot to talk about Survival Mode, so I'll just use one example: a player in Champion League 1 who is on the Leaderboard.
The player I'll use as an example is NFTDIVER. I selected him because he doesn't have any titles, so it gives me a better idea of his earnings in this game mode.

In the image above, I show two battles he had in Survival Mode and his earnings. Previously, the earnings were better, but this is still a good amount of SPS to earn in just one battle.
This was just one example; you can research others using the tips I mentioned, and this applies to any of the 5 leagues.
Remember that earnings also depend on the amount of SPS you have in Stake. You can find more details about this in the Splinterlands post: SPS Staking Multiplier for Ranked Battle Rewards.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, after a card is defeated in Survival Mode, it becomes unusable in Survival, Modern, Wild, Brawls, or Tournament modes. They also can't be used in the Lands, only when they are revived.
An interesting feature in Splinterlands is that you can mark which cards can be used in Survival Mode, so you don't risk "losing" important cards that you use in other modes.
To find out whether or not a card is available for use in Survival Mode, just go to the card (in the Cards section), click on it, and check if the Survival Mode option is active.

I'll use the Djinn Oshannus card as an example; the Survival Mode option is the one in green in the image above. If this option isn't green, the card isn't available for use in Survival Mode.

Another option to enable or disable your cards in Survival Mode is to use Peakmonsters. You can select multiple cards and enable or disable them more easily and quickly.
Cards have a respawn timer, which is represented by the image below:

Gold Foil cards take half the time to revive.
Just like in Modern and Wild modes, Survival Mode also has Leaderboard rewards, which are:
